 • -2 cans (440g in total) chickpeas
 • -1 bag black tea
 • Cover with water and cook 10-15mins and save the water.
 • -4 Tbsp vegan ghee by @koro_de or oil
 • -2 onions
 • -5 cloves garlic
 • -a thumbsize piece of ginger
 • Fry for 1-2mins.
 • -2 Tsp ground coriander, garam masala, cumin
 • -1 Tsp turmeric, Amchur (optional)
 • -salt to taste
 • -1 green chili
 • -1 chopped tomato
 • Add and sauté 5mins.
 • Add the chickpeas and 1 cup of the cooking-tea-water.
 • Simmer 15mins and serve with roti.

¾ cup vegetable broth or water, plus more as needed

1/3 cup peanut or almond butter (use SunButter for nut-free)

Fresh lime juice to taste

Salt to taste
