Ingredients
 • 5-6lbs Prime Rib, let sit out for 1 hr
 • 2 tsp Simply SPG

2 tsp Everyday Herb

Preheat the oven to 500 degrees. Pat the prime rib dry and mix the two herbs into a glass bowl. Pat the seasoning all over the prime rib. *NOTE: If you have a larger prime rib you will need more seasoning. Place fat side up in a roasting dish. Cook for 15mins at 500 degrees and then reduce the temperature to 325 degrees. Cook to your preferred temp. For rare average is 11-13 minutes per pound and medium rare is 13-15 minutes per pound average. Thermometer should register 115 for rare, 120 for medium rare and 130 for medium. When you pull the prime rib from the oven let sit for 20-30 minutes before carving into it.
