I’ve always wished Thanksgiving were a month earlier to enjoy dinner outdoors. I can’t think of any backdrop more beautiful than the autumn foliage putting on its best display. There’s something magical about eating al fresco on a mild autumn day with the leaves dancing in the air as they glide to the lawn. In New England, the leaves are long gone by the time Thanksgiving arrives. I had the best time putting this tablescape together in collaboration with Sunbrella.

With Thanksgiving just a week away on this #throwbackthursday we are going back to the first Macy's Parade! In 1924 Macy's held their first parade under the name of the "Macy's Christmas Parade" and it was 6 miles long. While the length of the parade has scaled down and it is now known as the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
