Vector patterns are great because you can increase or decrease the scale of the pattern without loosing the quality of the image. However they tend to look very rigid and lifeless, so that’s why I really like how these motifs turned out. I was able to maintain that hand-sketched look by first cleaning up my sketches in Adobe photoshop then live tracing my drawings in Adobe illustrator.
