Gong x Henge

What the organisers are saying about their upcoming event:

Prepare for a night of pure Psychedelia!

More a mythology than a band in the conventional sense Gong established itself as one of the most unique, innovative and experimental rock groups of the seventies, with an experimental mix of rock, jazz and psychedelia with elements of mysticism and based surrealism, all laced with a far-out sense of humour.

Extra-terrestrial joymongers – HENGE – have been delighting audiences in the UK and Europe since they landed on Planet Earth ten years ago. Their scintillating live performances earned them ‘Best Live Act’ at the Independent Festival Awards and they have since cemented their reputation with four acclaimed albums, numerous tours and regular main-stage festival appearances.

Cosmic Lama

What the organisers are saying about their upcoming event:

As part of the nationwide Blast Off Tour, the psychedelic wizards Jordan Young and Ben Robertson are bringing the Cosmic Lama experience to the legendary Hippos in Swansea. This isn't just a tour date; it’s a landing site for a multi-sensory celebration marking the release of our debut EP, Llama or Lama.

We are here to bridge the gap. Our signature sound, PsyWorldDance, lives in the sweet spot between the hypnotic, atmospheric pulse of Psybient/Psydub and the driving, relentless energy of Psytrance. It’s an irresistible urge to move, fueled by a global heartbeat and organic textures.

Expect a "live hybrid transmission" where electronic foundations meet the primal vibrations of the ancient world. We layer live didgeridoos, tribal drums, Amazonian percussion, majestic folk wind instruments, and ethereal vocals over fresh original material and tracks from pioneers like Shpongle, Ott, and Supersillyus.

Cosmic Lama - TBC

What the organisers are saying about their upcoming event:

Bristol, we are landing.

After months in the studio, the Blast Off Tour is officially touching down in Redfield. We are taking over The Spark Space for a one-off, high-energy session to celebrate the drop of our debut EP, Llama or Lama.

This isn't your standard gig. It’s an intimate, floor-shaking release party designed to blur the line between a rave and a house party.

We are bridging the gap between the low-end hypnotic pulse of Psydub and the driving, high-octane energy of Psytrance.

For the Bristol leg, Jordan Young and Ben Robertson are bringing a Live Hybrid Transmission. We aren't just hitting play. We are weaving fresh stems from the new EP with live improvisation and heavy nods to the pioneers—think Shpongle meets Ott meets Supersillyus—but with a raw, live energy you can’t get on Spotify.

Carbon Based Lifeforms

What Beautiful Burnouts are saying about their event:

CBL aim to combine earth and space in their music, using the combination of nature and technology as the main inspiration for their work.

They have played all over Europe, and the US, including many festival appearances such as Symbiosis (US), Anthropos (UK) and Ozora (Hungary) and in April 2025 played an incredible sold-out show at London Earth Theatre.

CBL are currently working on material for their next album and will be trying out some new ideas in their live shows. If they are half as good as the small sneak preview we heard in April, then this is very much something to look forward to.

This will be the first time they have played in Leeds.

The Orb

What the organisers are saying about their upcoming event:

The 'Buddhist Hipsters' Tour The Orb live Audio Visual Show previewing tracks from the forthcoming 'Buddhist Hipsters' album.

Few artists have defied convention over the years like Alex Paterson, figurehead of The Orb – having immersed himself in punk and dub reggae as a teen, he went on to roadie for rockers Killing Joke, worked in A&R for Brian Eno‘s label, E.G. Records, and somewhere along the line not only created ambient house, but built a more than 30-year career out of it.

Eat Static

What the organisers are saying about their upcoming event:

Formed in 1989 by Merv Pepler and Joie Hinton as a creative outlet for the diverse range of electronic music that the pair were writing. This year sees Eat Static reach the magical 30 years of performing!

Always primarily intended as a live band, Eat Static can legitimately claim to be one of the UK’s first live techno outfits. Eat Static quickly developed a spectacular live show and a loyal following quickly formed, with the crowds realising that dance could be performed live at a time when ‘live’ performances by other bands were often mimed by PAs.

Since that time Eat Static have played hundreds of gigs headlining festivals and shows around the world including appearances at the Ozora Festival, Albert Hoffman’s 100th birthday party, the Tokyo Festival of Modular and of course Glastonbury.
