In hindsight Gray's early introduction is really funny.
When he's first introduced its like 'oh ok he's a lil bit wild but this guy's clearly meant to fill the level headed rival type character role' and then the first arc that shines a spotlight on him you wait to see him fill the archetype only to watch him immediately try and kill himself.
