Or maybe someone will always get the short end of the stick. *** This is a story loosely based on Conan Gray's album Wishbone. I love this album and love Conan Gray's music. So, I hope I can give his album a justice.

And every year, like clockwork, both families go to the woods for their yearly Christmas getaway. One week, one lodge, two families. Brando and Wilson usually have an unspoken truth to stay out of each other's way. However, on the night that the adults go out to town for their annual night out, a snowstorm hits, preventing them from driving back. Cutting out the phone signals. Locking the boys inside. Together. With no technology. As secrets begin to unravel, truths get brought to life, and the hatred that guarded the boys slowly began to melt in front of the flickering flames.
