Dog Clickers

Here is some useful information about training for Dogs. Clicker Training is a dog training method that is based on positive reinforcement and gentle handling. In fact, in clicker training there is little or no physical intervention on the part of the trainer or handler. The clicker is a simple device that creates a distinct metallic sound that we use in order to deliver accurate information to the dog. The scientific research and evidence regarding the validity of this training method has been known for years.

One of the most important aspects of Clicker for Dog Training is the timing. In order for the dog to learn that a certain behavior gets him reinforcement, the reinforcement must be delivered while the behavior is taken place. The more accurate we are, the easier it is for the dog to learn. The more we postpone the reinforcement, the less is the ability to associate between the behavior and the consequence. For example, if I want to teach my dog to sit, I need to deliver the treat right as the dog’s behind touches the ground. This is where the clicker comes in by establishing a connection between the “click” and then treat, I can manage to deliver information to the dog immediately.

Me and My Jimmy

Hi friends, all the day though I was thinking about what to give in as my next post. Suddenly, a thought arose and asked me why I shouldn’t write about my pet dog jimmy that lives at my home. It is the best friend I have ever got. I always love to play with jimmy and would pass my time by just looking at the crazy pranks that it does. I will give lot of importance to jimmy and to pen, it is very naughty that it will eat only mutton. Similarly, I can never give up even if a small insect sits over him. Jimmy manages to fight against all the insects well except fleas. For your information, fleas is the term that indicates any type of small, wingless, bloodsucking insects that have legs adapted for jumping and are parasitic on warm-blooded animals. Cockroaches can also be counted under fleas. Even I enjoy watching it fight. I will also fight with jimmy but you won’t believe it will be funny to fight with him. One more I wish to say is my jimmy’s agility. It’s beyond words. Any person with any breed of dog can understand a dog’s agility. All you need is a positive attitude, commitment, teamwork, and proper training for the dog. It is a great way to exercise while building a strong bond between you and your pet. The benefits of agility are unlimited for dogs and people of all ages and backgrounds.
