ATC's

Good morning to all my lovely crafty friends and  followers. Wednesday comes around so fast and  its another weekly challenge at Crafting by Designs and the theme this week is ATC's. Having never made an ATC before this was a bit of an adventure for me I did a bit of research on Pinterest and the Web re sizes and types of styles although our sponsor provided us with some fab vintage images so that decided my style.

We have a great sponsor this week

 Lunagirl

Prize: $15 credit to store

I have to say if you are into vintage images you will love this site. So here are my set of ATC's.  I have to say they came out a lot better than I thought they would.!!

Lace Whitby Crafts
Pearl flower String Whitby Crafts and The Hobby House
Cheesecloth Ribbon from my stash
Cameos Wild Orchid Crafts (sadly they no longer stock them)
Flat back pearl string Hobby Craft.
Marianne die tinys flower one trimmed to fit.

I put a small Nottingham lace lavender bag inside each box so when it was opened the wood would give the scent of lavender.
I'll be back before Christmas and may even have a wedding photo to show you along with the photo of the Wedding Stationery. I think I'll be really proud when I see everyone in the church on Monday with my Order of Service.
Enjoy the last few days before Christmas and please take time to relax hugs Carole.x

Quilled Poinsettia Christmas Box

Good morning to all my wonderful followers and  friends and a special welcome this morning to my new follower Teresa thank you so much for becoming one of my followers I hope you enjoy my posts and  continue to visit my blog regularly.
My post today is a quilled box. I made the quilled Poinsettia shapes at the Thursday craft group I go to a few weeks ago and rather than them lying around on my desk I decided to use them and make a Christmas box. I do enjoy quilling but it is time taking but the results are always so pretty.

Christmas Boxes

Good Morning to all my lovely friends and  followers. I hope you are all coping with the Christmas preparations. I'm just about there have a couple of last minute food things to  get and  some wrapping then I'm done.
Todays post is of some Christmas Boxes I made a few weeks ago. I couldn't post them until now as they were for some of my friends my husband calls the Golden Girls and they do sometimes look at my blog. I was out yesterday for lunch with them all and  these were the little gifts I took. We all take something small with our cards to share over lunch. We had a great afternoon at Wynyard Hall so festive and a beautiful pianist played the whole time we were there, the food was excellent as it always is there. Fantastic service, staff, and great company with my lovely friends.

These are the boxes. I bought the templates from Whichcraft at the GNPE and decorated them with Pion papers. They came out really well and I filled them with some sweeties and a small gift.
