Birthday Cake

Good morning to all my lovely friends and  followers its Wednesday and  the launch of a new weekly challenge over at Crafting by Designs Our theme for this week is Food and  Drink

5x7 Blank card
Stamp is Birthday Cake from Dr Digi and  I paper pieced it.using some scraps of Maja Design
 papers Sofiero The Magnificent Flowerstreet and  Strolling Down the Rose Path
Embossed Rose background card is from Jelly Bean crafts
Frame die is from eBay
Stamps are Lili of the Valley Everyday Grungy Messages and The Eat Cake is a Whimsy stamp from the Birthday Letter Seals set I've had this a long time and  not sure if its still available. 
Edges inked with Tattered Rose Distress Ink
Pearl stars my box.
Glamour dust on the icing on the cake
Pink Viva pearl pen to make the background dots.

Jukebox Jive

Good morning to all you lovely blog friends and followers . Today sees the launch of another challenge over at Crafting by Designs and the theme this week is a masculine card. I can hear the groans not our favorite thing but I have to say once I push myself to make one I do enjoy them especially if like this one I have to search the internet for the right papers and embellishments.

Rock Around The Clock

Hi everyone today sees the launch of the new weekly challenge over at Crafting by Designs the theme this week is Rock Around The Clock and we are very lucky to have two sponsors

My choice for my Design Team card was an image from Dr.Digi called Metal Mick this is a real fun image and I enjoyed making the card but as I'm sure you'll all agree not quite my normal style. However it's always good to do different so hope you enjoy him and it makes you start signing Rock Around the Clock by Bill Haley and The Comets certainly takes me back a few era's to my youth club days.
