What is "normal", huh. After so many, many years being in a weekend-relationship I always managed to get away with doing the washing-up only (and the eating, of course!).
Finally being together didn´t start easy.
First three apartments to take care of, then the herniated disk, then the pancreatitis, the wrong medication and all, with that the loss of the job, the global economic crisis and the very difficult search for a job - all that on Ingo´s side (ok, I took part in the apartment-thing!).
On my side the loss of my colleague due to the crisis - tough times.
Cooking was never my thing.
But things are starting to get "normal" and in a normal relationship you have the fun and the duty to work for a better "togetherness", right?
So. I start to join in with the cooking thing.
This is
my "work" (with Ingo giving the size as an example first):

Pepper, zucchini, mushrooms, nothing new.
Here my
first - onions in little pieces - I never did that before:

You might think, oh-my! But... at home I wasn´t allowed in the kitchen because I was always afraid of heat. Pans, oven... you know.
Ingo did this:

The result, yum:

The last today...
Will be going to the footy. A last time visit a game of American Football in town.
When we started in 1998 I paid 5 DM (German Mark - 2,50 €), being a student.
Now it´s 20+ &euro.
Hello???
And we get less and less for that! No more "Opening", no more "Pre-Game", no more "Re-View", no more "After-Game".
So I asked, via e-mail. I said this isn´t just a mean complaint, but I have a point.
I got back, "all the best for your football-retirement". Which means "F### You", right?
Very sad. The players do their best - though being a mostly new team now. But the management just doesn´t care.
There were around 10 000 visitors watching and there are bare 4 000 now. And they give people who join in for over 10 years an answer like that.
We´ll save a lot of money now.
