Arrived In Perth
Sadly we have no internet access at the Cabin and the provider here refuses to connect to Facebook, atm I don´t have the number of the cellphone I can use here, so please, anyone up for a cuppa/meetup contact me via the comment here or via e-mail.
@Rodney, please let me know soon if you´d like to be out witness on November 30th.

Hello Goodbye
It´s totally blurry, I´m not there yet, not gone here, either.
We got some last stuff for our journey to Perth today and.. brrrr. it´s gotten cold!
When I saw this cute set of bonnet and glovies I couldn´t resist and in the aftermath (aka after Schadt´s) I was very happy about it, too.
Dunno what to do with the glovies when it´s really getting cold, but, awwwww, they wear a bonnet!!!
Who can resist this?!!
Not me! The NOIM finally arrived in Perth, I learned tonight, so I guess we really very likely will get married, depending on our witnesses Nov 30th or Dec 1st.
Wow.
Me.
Huh?
Who´d ever guessed that - and ... well.
It´s weird, as said on FB already... since we know about all this wedding stuff we kinda find new sides to all for us.
Like... caring for others (we always did, but never talked about it that much), being kinda romantic - after all those (19) years (well, Ingo at least, I did not get my Dad´s genes here, but my Mum´s).
Ingo even got me those Italian roses - well from the Italian shop anyways - Italian!
Feel free to ask us personally ;-) Ack, it´s kinda dumb to have FB and blogger seperated.
I don´t wanna repeat myself and often FB is the first choice.... Cause... it´s faster.
Anyhows.
We´re all set and ready to go, more or less.
Condo, mail and cars are taken care of, as well as the jobs.
Will it all go well?
Taxi, train, bus, tram, hotel, flying...
Thanks again, Hann, for picking us up, we´ll very likely be stinking zombies.
I´m so very much looking forward to coming to Perth again, to meet everyone - really - shy and introvert me is looking forward to meeting you!
Whereas here people "beg" me to join me cause "No"vember is so nasty, I can come to early summer in Perth!
And maybe leave as... um. A Mrs...
As mentioned, friend P had three years to think about it, me one day...
Please wish us rain for every 3rd night cause there are eucalyptys trees at the place we stay, hmmmm, the smell is SO beautiful in the morning and the sound on the tinned-roof, ahhhh...
See ya soon, Hello Goodbye.
For in case internet doesn´t work for us - we´re at Kingsway Caravan Park.
Whoot. Loooong journey ahead again.
Getting old is no fun, as Ingo´s late Grandma used to say.
But you have to, if you wanna see it all, right? :-)
Last night at home, nighty-night!

Hello Perth - Help Needed?
And here we are, nearly 10 years later, on April 2nd 2023, and, after COVID we really plan to go back to Perth come Feb/March 2024!
All the things listed below we did, more than once and we´ll happily repeat it!
This is for Elizabeth´s Second on the 2nd.
When Mandi sent me over the sooo welcomed car stickers in May she addedd a Perth-booklet for in case we´d like to come back. Thanks again, Mandi, and, yep, little hints are helpful it worked :-)
The booklet helped, too, as did Grace´s blog :-)
Here´s what I got so far - anyone in for in case I didn´t get something?
If anyone likes to play our tourguide or meet up for a cuppa, that´d be great - we plan to buy a cellphone and get a prepaid card, let me know your e-mail-address here and I´ll contact you.
Keep in mind we´re not there forever, just three weeks, so the best it has to be for now.
We can talk different when we´ve retired and have all the time in the world, hopefully ;-)
Also please keep in mind we don´t have a car, Transperth is our choice. And money isn´t unlimited, either.
Well, here goes, "Hello Perth" got me interested in/reminded me of these:
AQWA at Hillarys 10.00-5.00.
We´ve been there in 2006 - worth again a visit? Or has nothing changed?
The Zoo? Last time it was too hot and all animals who could did hide.
Caversham Wildlife Park?
Penguin Island?
Perth Mint?
WA Museum?
Subi, markets www.subiaco.wa.gov.au --> Walking Subiaco pamphlet for selfguided walks
WA Medical Museum Crn Barker & Railway Roads, Subi, Wed 10.30-4.00, Sun 2.00-4.00
Kings Park, certainly!
I have to add a little story here btw.
I asked if we´re allowed to hang our love lock
I got a no, sadly.
The other day I got another e-mail from the same person, Debbie, telling me of the option we can use Bell Tower (which Hammy also said, thanks again).
Quite frankly: Wow!
It´s no option cause you have to buy their love locks, but... Debbie cared! She remembered us!
One in a million, I say!
Guess I´ll ask if she´s there and thank her personally for the efford, for the thinking of us, for... aw, well - loving her job and passing it on.

Yes... No... Yes!
Golden October is history. Here you see Ingo reminiscing :-)
November over here is grey. Cold. Windy. Nasty. No one likes November.
Radio-station N-Joy started a campaign for November - let´s not call it November but... Yesvember!
Tell us why Yesvember is a great month for you!
I like the campaign per se.
But this year I certainly can say why I love Yesvember - it´ll be warm to hot, the sun´ll shine, we´ll meet old and new online-friends and last not least we´ll get married!
It´s funny.
I won´t say I took Ingo for granted, certainly not after him being that seriously sick.
But lately we found ourselves finding reasons why we´re the right ones for one each other.
And being romantic and caring for others was one just today when we saw in the news about bus driver Darrell Barton from Buffalo who safed a woman from comitting suicide.
I felt tears coming and tried hard to hide it, but when I turned to Ingo I saw his eyes as watery.
Guess, as different as we are, we are soulmates after all.
Yesvember 2013 will very likely be a great month for us, the greatest of 2013 and I really think we should rename this month to this, Yesvember. What do you think?
And yupp, we´re still talking of a German radio-station in Germany ;-)
Happy... CUBIFA!
Or rather weekend, huh?
Perth-list really coming up next, asking you to add what I forgot!
