Heh. I'm so naughty. Hey, I'm not sayin' anything... not until at least 11:02 CDT. :) Then, I'll update, with links, an' everythang.
... is causing ripples in the Earth's atmosphere, hence the visual distortion. ;)
Now, if only I can get my W-2 from Vanderbilt... I might have a decent downpayment towards that awesome Yamaha Majesty, once the IRS coughs up its due.
LarryElvis shows iris! Huzzah!
What I see when you see me here. I dunno what you see, 'cause you sluffers won't send me a screen cap!
Look left before crossing 21st Avenue South...
Look right before crossing 21st Avenue South...
A lonely Chinese Death Machine.
Looking up the hill from behind the library towards the Iris Cafe patio. Lovely monkeygrass for this time of year... our campus is full of it. Great, dense, lush swaths of it, everywhere.
This is a squirrel's-eye view very near where I park the CDM every morning, looking southwest, up the hill, towards the Administration Building's parking lot.
What could be creepier than babies climbing a giant DNA double-helix? Children of Man, indeed!
It's not turtles all the way down. It's owls, magnolias, turtles, ducks, wabbits, wee li'l goats and dogs!
This is my space in the assistant dean's office. Taken at lunchtime, of course, since I'm looking at Eschaton comments. Cafe Coco mug!
How about that?
Boldly parking where I should never go -- right in front of the Admin Building @ Peabody. :)
Directly in front of the Admin Building, across 21st Avenue, Medical Center East, and the Trauma Unit behind, w/heliport, for Vanderbilt Lifeflight trauma patient transport. The chopper's in the center of the photo, behind the tree limbs; you can make out the fins of the tail rotor guards.
I don't know what this building is in the heart of the Med Center, but it's going up quickly. When I left Thursday, the supports on the top were not there. Now they have forms going in for the concrete. UPDATE: Busy Mom sez this is for Radiology and Radiological Sciences.
First Floor of Peabody Library. Note four eMacs. Or whatever they're called. Macs... sheesh.
This is between the John F. Kennedy Center and the Peabody Library, in a traffic island that is immaculately landscaped. I liked it, 'cause I'm a cat dude. El Gato Negro?
Someone left these funny looking lamps downstairs in the admin building...
The Iris Cafe, on the north end of the Peabody Library, very near the Black Cat.
The front entrance to the Peabody Library. On the opposite side is moto-cycle parkin'.
Walking south from Magnolia Circle towards my building, which this would be. Peabody Administration.
The wreath people have been here.
