Book

Apologies for the quality of these photos!
I did this little book just for fun.It is called "dreams" and the quotes inside follow this theme.(I seem to have been having a bit of a pink moment but I am sure I'll get over it!)

The book is made from mountboard, coloured with inks , patterned with bubble wrap printing, stamped & embossed with white . The front cover is made from acetate.

Fabric bookmark

Fabric bookmark - the base fabric is a scrap of khaki linen which I have stamped & embossed in candy turquoise & gold then added the stamped image, also edged in gold & added the ribbon. The inner of the bookmark is thin mountboard but I would probably use fabric interlining or paper in future as it is a bit too chunky.

Altered tin

The tin contained a well known face cream in its former life! I painted it with several coats of black acrylic paint , stamped & heat embossed round the edges of the lid then rubbed over with silver wax. The embellishment in the centre is made from Das clay which has been stamped into , painted with back acrylic paint , rubbed over the raised pattern with Versamark & heat embossed with silver then rubbed with wax which gives it a sort of distressed silver look.

Altered box

Decided to alter this detergent box as it is the perfect size for storing atcs!
I first painted it with several rough coats of white acrylic paint inside and out then "daubed" with several coats of black acrylic using a cosmetic sponge which gives a surface that feels a bit like old leather, a bit distressed. I then embossed with a versamark pad through some plasterboard scrim, overlapping and varying the pressure to give distressed/aged effect & heat embossed
with silver. Finally I added a black button which was stamped and embossed with silver also.

Decorative boxes

I decorated these little papier mache boxes using acrylic paints then stamped with Versamark and heat embossed. The inside is lined with vintage paper from K&Co.

Collage on canvas - Elegance

This little canvas (5in x 7in) was simple to do - the background is very thin tissue paper glued to the canvas with thinned PVA then coated with more thinned glue to protect the surface. Added ribbon & 'lace', stamped & embossed the cream chipboard frame for the picture and finished off with feathers, metal swirl & a tiny gem.
