Evening!
Popping in to share my creation -
Have you all got your sticky crafty fingers on this freebie image yet from our facebook group ? If not you need to pop over to Kit & Clowder and follow the
instructions!
It is called Summer Breeze and was a joy to create with with the grey
rainy saturday we just had.
The papers are from COCOA VANILLA Happiness collection and I used a spell binders die to cut away the middle and mounted the dark paper behind it. I used copics to colour the image. and 3d foam to raise the flower papers up to give some dimension.
Don't forget to share your creations with us and why not join the blog or facebook challenge ? You could win more of these beautiful All Dressed Up images.

Barmaid Bev and blustrery Autumn days.
Morning - sorry I am a bit later today - only finished the card last night and wanted to wait till daylight to photograph... then as there were no workmen at the house - took full advantage of not having to set an alarm and had a lie in!! We even had a pot of tea lounging in bed!! Lovely! And we are off to my sisters this afternoon for a Roast dinner. She lives in the middle of the countryside so it will be lovely on a bluster autumnal day with the big open fire. (I will make sure I am not driving so I can have a few glass of Red wine !) But first there is painting and cleaning to do so its not a completely restful day but at least I will deserve all the food and drink!
Now I reckon Our Bev the Barmaid has served a few red wines and pints... isnt't she fab! Obviously she had to have animal print clothing and big bright hair!
Hope you all have a lovely Sunday, whatever you are up to -
Cheers!

Sleepy Time
Hello - have you seen the new releases over at All Dressed Up? They are gorgeous and there seems to be a theme of sleep! Something I def need more of! I would love to go into hibernation and just wake up when all our building work is finished but that's not going to happen so.... we keep soldiering on!!
I got to play with this cute fox image called Sleepy time which I coloured with Copics and then added some texture using prisma colour pencils. I die cut the image and used tree paper from Websters pages on a kraft base. I added some lace and a gold greeting from Do Crafts.
I hope you like Foxy - and go to take a look at all the other lovely creations with the beautiful new images.
Thanks for stopping by!!

Gripper gives big hugs.
Morning All - I will be in work when you are reading this but I can
post thanks to the wonders of scheduling! So this week I have been
colouring Gripper Stebson just because he is a cracking image and I reckon he is really a big ol'softie who just wants to give you a big hug!!
I used paper from My Minds Eye Alphabet soup collection and covered a square card base. I use a Die-namincs in and out diagonal stitched square die to cut the frame from red card and a Spellbinders nestibilities die to cut the star from black card. I die cut the greeting from gold card using Big Scripty die from Lawn Fawn and added some gold foam stars from Pink Fresh.
I used my usual skin combo for his skin but the rest of Gripper was coloured with Copics. I added little details with a gold pen and white posca pen.
Hope you like this weeks cards and come back next week to see my next Dr Digi creation,

Christmas Troll
Good Morning - Today is the start of a new challenge over at I love Promarkers.
The theme is Anything Goes and the sponsor is Bugaboo who have some wicked images. I have used an image called Christmas Troll to make a special card for my Goddaughter as Trolls are very trendy!
I went with the pink and sweet theme and these papers from Doodlebug were perfect! The trim across the top is glittered and also from Doodlebug as is the candy brad at the top of the tag. I mounted everything on kraft card which matches the Gingerbread men and die cut a scalloped edge using a My Favourite things die and also a nestibilities dies to create the scalloped circle. I used green glittered letters to spell out the name and a small peel off which I coloured with promarkers to match.
Finally on the sweets I added some glaze and some Cosmic shimmer glitter.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Hair - Vermillion, Shocking pink & Hot Pink with white gel pen detail.
Skin - Baby pink & Fuschia pink.
Dress - Lime Zest, Lime Twist & Grass.
Headband - Lush Green & Emerald.
Powder Blue eyes.
Poppy & Ruby on the sweets and candy cane.
I love how she turned out and hope you do to. Looking forward to seeing all your cards in the Anything Goes theme

Boys Christmas Stocking.
I absolutly love new release time at All Dressed Up. I am so lucky to get these images to play with but not only that ... Wendy lets us make requests for images!! This month I was asked by a friend to make Christmas Cards for her Son and Daughter. I really want to similar images so I could make the cards co-ordinate but I just couldn't find any such matching images... so I cheekily asked Wendy to draw them! I even got to send her photos of the children and they are just perfect little mini me's of them!! I am sure they will be really popular with lots of you out there too.
This one is called Boys Christmas Stocking.
I covered the base card with paper from Pink Fresh December days collection and then used a scalloped edge die to cut a strip of red paper from American Crafts. I die cut a blue oval from Doodlebug paper and layered all these together with some ribbon. I cut around the image and used 3d foam to attach him to the base card. I used promarkers to colour the bottom layer of the Make It Crafty chipboard and glued them together. I added the letters to spell out Ronan from Websters Pages and I also stamped the top tag using Lawn Fawn Harolds ABC letters. Finally I used some star dust stickles on the fluff of his Santa Hat.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and flexmarkers -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft peach, Coral & Spice with Baby Pink cheeks.
Hat & Top - Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Jeans - True Blue & Royal Blue
Shoes - Indigo Blue
Powder blue to shade white areas and Emerald Green details.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
You Will have to wait for me to show you the Girl version as I will be playing with that one next! But you can see all the new release images and the DT inspiration over at the All Dressed Up BLOG.
Thanks for stopping by,

Stamping Bella - thanks.
Thought I'd take this chance were I have no DT post to show you this card I made for Ben's Nan to thank her for a lovely gift. I have used a stamp from Stamping Bella called Tiny Townie Bonnie Loves Bows - I love this image and used the spots as the theme for the card.
The Striped paper is from My Favourite things Just delightful Dots & Stripes Sorbet. To the bottom I added a panel of Spotty paper from My Minds Eye Black and Grey Necessities paper pad and I used another sheet to die cut the heart using a spellbinders nestibilities die. To mirror all the bows I tied a thin piece of ribbon around the edge of the heart.
I used a Lawn Fawn Big Scripty die to cut the word Thanks from pink satin card and added a few co-ordinating gems.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the lovely Bonnie -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral, spice and Baby pink cheeks.

Special card for a special goodbye.
Hello - time to share a commissioned card. I love that I can make such personalised cards - This was for a teacher who was leaving. I was able to find the perfect image from Some Odd Girl called Little Loves - the Tobie version.(It is available with a little girl also.) I used a colour scheme to match the Nursery uniform colours and to colour the image to match the hair and add names. Where else can you get a card so specific unless you go to a crafter for handmade!?
The papers are all from Doodlebug - The multi-coloured stars are from Anchors Aweigh pad, the notepad is from Hello Sunshine and the blue ziz-zag from Kraft in Colour has been used to cut stars with a nestibilities die. The letters spelling out Gaynor and the small star sprinkles are also Doodlebug.
I also added a strip of yellow ribbon and a button which I tied a twine bow around. I stamped the top part of the greeting using Harolds ABC stamps from Lawn Fawn and then added some big Chalkboard letters from Jenni Bowlin. I think it ties it all together really nicely.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique white, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral, Spice and Baby Pink cheeks
Her Hair - Warm Greys
Her Top - Mulberry & Plum Preserve
Her trousers - Demin Blue, Polar Blue &Pastel Blue.
His hair - Burnt Sienna, Firewood, Cocoa & Walnut
His Top - Egyptian Blue, Royal Blue & Indigo Blue
His trousers - Cool Grey 2, 3, 4 & 5
I hope you like this card and the special person its made for does too!

Reach for the stars...
Morning -
I got some zig clean colour pens for christmas and have been playing with creating backgrounds. I made this night sky to go with this image from Dr Digi called Saucer Head.
I decided to make it into a shaker card by die cutting a panel from black card using a Nestibilities die and covering the gap with accetate. I filled the shaker with far too many sequins and glitter from Doodlebug- when will I learn that less is more!! I also used some Cosmic shimmer olympic gold paint on the background to give it areas to look like stars.
I coloured the image and made sure I went around the image to so it blended with the background - I also coloured the clear space of the saucer and used some blender pen and white pen to make it look like glass. I think its quite effective!
I die cut the Happy Birthday from gold card using a paper smooches die and I added the other bits by hand using a gold and silver pen.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Sky - Midnight blue,
Saucer - Red, Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy
Alien - Soft Lime, Lime Zest, Lime Green, Pear Green and Marsh Green
Powder blue eyes and Gold top.
The lights are Lemon, Summer Sun & Sleigh Bells.
Thats all from me for today - I would love to know what you think of my background and if you make your own backgrounds - What do you use ?
Thanks for stopping by,

Enchanted Christmas
Morning - The new weekly challenge is starting at The Paper Shelter and the theme is to make a Christmas Card. Now I know you will all be doing these so I am expecting lots of entries as they don't have to be a Paper Shelter image but you get better prizes if they are!!
I have used an image called Enchanted Christmas. I covered my card base with paper from Lawn Fawn Snowdays and matted this with Red mirri card which I also used to cut the scalloped circle using a Nestibilities die.
I added some Tilda ribbon and covered the bauble in the image with glaze pen which I then sprinkled with cosmic shimmer.
The chipboard bauble is from Scrapiniec and the hearts are from Wycinanka - I think these are my newest obession! I filled some of the shapes with Star dust stickles.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - usual.
Pink Mittens, Baby pink, Cocktail & Cerise
Lime Zest, Lime green & Pear Green
Lush Green, Emerald & Pine
Poppy, Ruby, Cardinal red & Burgundy
Powder blue & Blue grey 2 (With a little Cloud blue & Imperial Violet prisma colour pencils)
I used white pen on the spots on the wings.
I hope you like her - you will notice I have done her socks just like my Monkey emblem as these are just like the socks I made my first Monkey from.

Snug but stylish.
Afternoon - The new challenge has started over at The Paper Shelter and I have used an image called Snug but Stylish.
Theme of the challenge is to use more than one of Anything so I have added ... (Wait for it... ) - two flower embellishments from the internet, two felt holly leaves from Hobbycraft, Two layers using gold mirri and two gold leaves cut using a Marianne die. I even use a lamp post with two lights which I filled inside with two colours of stickles - diamond and yellow, as well as two different patterned papers from Papermania. Think I got the theme covered and if I'm honest as lot of it happened by accident!!

Over the moon with All Dressed Up.
Hello - It's time for the first Challenge over at All Dressed Up since the rejigging of the Blog. You can use any image to enter this challenge - with only one rule... IT MUST BE AN ALL DRESSED UP IMAGE. This isn't hard as there are so many beautiful image on the etsy page here...
But on the blog there are also some freebies - so there are no excuses for not joining in!!
My DT card is using an image called Over The Moon.
I actually made this card as it was a Cousins wedding and I just thought it lent itself perfectly for lots of gold and sparkle and so I could use my new paper from My Minds Eye called Yes Please.
I cut a panel of the paper and mounted it onto Black card. I die cut the image using a Nestibilities die and cut another also from the black.
I tied a ribbon across the top and tied this in a bow. I used Lawn Fawn big scripty words die to cut about six Congrats from black card and one from gold. I glued all these together - putting the gold one on top. I am really pleased with how it has come out! Finally I added a gold heart from Freckled Fawn. I coloured the moon using Cosmic Shimmer watercolours in Olympic gold but I tried to keep them quite thick rather than too wet. I also used a little gold pen to add detail to his outfit and some diamond stickles on her dress and Veil.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice.
Hair - Burgundy, Henna & Chestnut.
Dress - Powder blue, Satin & Linen
Flowers - Soft Green, Violet & Lilac
His Clothes - Warm greys 1 to 5
I love the way this has turned out! I love all things shimmery and gold!!
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Thanks for popping in - see you soon,

Edna loves Ice Cream
Hello - My post to day is one of those rare "just for fun" cards. Don't get me wrong I love making any cards, stroking my paper collection and colouring the images is my favourite way of passing a day! But ... often my cards are determined or at least guided by a challenge theme or a DT creation. This is a very good thing for me as otherwise I do get overwhelmed by my ever growing stash of crafty goodness so please don't think I am complaining - I am definitely not. Some guidance of a colour scheme or a layout is always helpful in getting the creative juices flowing!
This stamping company - Stamping Bella are one of my (Many!?!) weaknesses - so it was a pleasure to create this card just because I could! I had the new image to play with and time to play. She is called Edna loved Ice Cream.
I used these fab shaped based cards from Create and Craft TV and cut panel from the Crate Paper Hello Love. I mounted this on to My Favourite Things paper Dots & Stripes Sorbet collection (Another favourite... anyone else buy two of the same pads just to make sure you have enough??) and to make the most of it I die cut the circle from the middle of the panel using a Lawn Fawn stitched circle die. I also used a Nestibilities die to cut the scalloped circle from the same paper collection and added to this a Craftworks card Happy Birthday greeting.
I glued a thin pink ribbon across the top and made a little hand tied bow - below which I added three yellow doodlebug enamel dots. Finally I added some diamond stickles onto the coloured image to make her wings sparkle.
I used these promarkers & flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Antique White, Blush, Soft Peach, Coral & Spice with Baby Pink cheeks.
Top, shoes & cherry - Red, Poppy, Ruby & Burgundy.
Hair & Ice Cream - Primrose, Buttercup, Pineapple Crush & Sleigh Bells.
Skirt & Sauce - Pink Mittens, Baby Pink & Carmine.
Cream - Powder blue shading.
Glass - Aquamarine - Blended and layered
I hope you like Edna and my card. I can't wait to colour her again for more creations.

Christmas in July with Holly
There is a new challenge at I Love Promarkers and the theme is Christmas in July. I have used this lovely image called Holly from Wee Stamps.
I have used Patterned paper from Websters Pages Gingerbread collection and the wood effect is from My Minds Eye Necessities. I cut around the image using a spellbinders nestibities die and used a lawn fawn stitched Hillside edge die. I can't remember the make of the pine cone dies - Sorry!!! I mounted everything on brown bazzill card rather than black so it all tied together. I added a few pearl gems and used diamond stickles on the image for the snow.
I used these promarkers and flexmarkers to colour the image -
Skin - Usual combo!
Hair - Nutmeg, Umber, Henna & Walnut.
Jumper & earmuffs - Pink Mittens, Cocktail Pink & Antique Pink.
Scarf - Green shoots, Grass, Forest green, Lush Green.
Wings - Aquamarine.
Stirpes - Red, Lipstick red & Chilli Red with a little burgundy on the berries.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Crafty Gals Corner - ATG
Fab N Funky - Christmas
Little Red Wagon - Christmas
Mod Squad - Christmas in July
Holly Jolly Christmas - Sparkle
Passion for promarkers - Christmas in July.

Happy Birthday El Gordo.
Morning - Todays post for Dr Digi DT is using El Gordo
I made this card for a friend we met whilst on holiday years ago in Mexcio and yesterday we went to his surprise 40th Birthday party. Where else can you find that perfect image !! He also loves his cars so the retro black and white car paper was a great combo.
The coloured papers are from Carta Bella Circus Party collection -the yellow paper is called Banners and Turquoise paper called Tickets. The car paper is from Crate Paper I think (I have cut the bottom of??) I used the Die-namics party banner die cut and star nestibilities to cut the red Bazzill card and used Doodlebug white letters to add the numbers and letters. The Happy Birthday is from Pebbles and I cut the end off to make it fit a little better.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Creative With Stamps - Masculine
Catch the Bug - Masculine.
Alphabet challenge - Hand coloured image.
Craft for the Craic - Masculine.
QKR Stampede - One for the guys
Craft rocket - For man or boy

Iron Dan
Hello - this is my latest creation for Dr Digi and I've used an image called Iron Dan.
I really liked colouring this one in for some reason and used paper from My Minds Eye necessities to match his boxers!
I kept the yellow colour by adding the striped paper from Echo Park dots and stripes collection and then used red Bazzill to die cut the Star using a nestibilities die. The greeting tag I die cut from Lawn Fawn Wonky stitched rectangle die and then added a Happy Birthday greeting from Kaisercraft. Finally I added some homemade enamel dots to add a little extra detail and used the Lawn Fawn edge dies to go around the edge before I glued everything together.
I used these promarkers & Flexmarkers to colour Iron Dan -
Skin- Antique white, blush, soft peach, coral & Spice.
Red, Poppy, Ruby & Burgandy
Gold & Summer Sun.
Powder blue on socks & eyes & power button.
Boxers - Cool grey 4 & 5
Instructions - Morning Mist & Sand dune.
I hope you like him. I'm really pleased with how this has turned out and think it works great with the Kraft background.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges -
Allsorts Challenge - April fools / Humour
Crafty Calendar - Anything goes.
Brown Sugar - ATG
Crafting with friends - ATG
Morgans artworld - For men
The Stamping Boutique - Masculine.
Juliaspiri challenge - Film
See you all soon,
