“Colour my world”

Mail Art project “Colour my world”

You are invited to participate in a Mail Art project entitled “Colour my world”. You can choose to use all the colours that you like in the same art work or to create works in which, only one colour prevails. According to the project, the colours could be combined with the months of the year but this is just a suggestion. What I want is organize an exhibition with all the colours. So you are free to choose the colour that represents you best. I will send you back mail art in the same colour.
November: all colours, December: gold and silver, January: black and white, February: brown, March: pink, April: red, May: green, June: purple, July: blue, August; orange, September: yellow, October: all colours.
Theme: “Colour my world”
Size, media, number of submissions: Free
No fees, no jury, no returns.
Deadline: November 1st 2014.
Please include the title of the work, your name, address, email address, etc.
Documentation: All participants will receive an email listing those who have taken part in the Exhibition. All entries will be displayed online so if you don’t want your contact details (postal and email address) to be published please let me know.

Project : Primary Colours

Hello!

I’m a twenty one year old Belgian student. I study graphic design, now I'm in my master year. This year I had to set up my own project. As my father is a fisherman, I set up a message in a bottle project. I already received 75 replies, I received answering letters from France, England, Ireland, the Netherlands, one from Germany and now even one from Norway! The longest distance one of the bottles traveled was ± 895km (556 miles) in exactly 7 months! This bottle washed up in Karmøy, an isle  in Norway. Quite fascinating, isn’t it?

This year I started asking people to send me 3 images (for my masterproject). And now, I want to do the same on the internet. As the sea is a neutral area, just as the internet. I also send a message to an unknown recipient. I would be very grateful with your answer!

Will you please help me in my masterproject (schoolproject) and send me:
3 different images (can be pictures, postcards, drawings, clippings from a paper or a magazine,… can be anything) that are, according to you, related to the theme: ‘primary colours’.
