Enlight Remaster details: All tracks are normalized in volume with aprox -10dB (down), using an adaptive mode ( no peak to peak or replaygain is used)! Strong noise removed 50%nl-12.0dB reduction, some crackles has been removed <10% , peak restoration between -0.5 and -1.9!. for the cleaning part, some eq change are carefully made, Stereo has been vitalized with 7.5-12.5 % max., right and left channels are balanced. Overall dynamic loudness +27.5% high-quality mode, this makes the sound smoother, but still keeps its rawness. Nothing has been add /edited to or out the original source for tapers respect!!
Enlight note: An original recording remastered by Enlight (2011-jan/feb), into a more listenable sound quality. All great version! An outstanding motivated band performing their last 1981 "on location world tour"concert. Notes: The third performance (with 5 being played in London) of the June European tour in 1981, promoting the album "The Wall".
Pretty good quality recording from an unknown generation tape, recorded on tape, labeled by convention as the Recorder second sound is clear, slightly muffled, in some places slightly undulating. In addition, there is no significant interference. Pretty loud, but not burdensome audience.
Write performance is not complete. Missing the first part of the opening intro MC and the initial part of the song "In The Flesh?".
Parties maintained the continuity of the recording. Segmentation system compatible with the tape recordings of source (by using 90-minute tapes), but inconsistent with the actual course of the concert.
Material is not indexed.

On 5 July, they played a festival in Werchter, by the sea, in Belgium.
Robert: "We'd only been on for about a half an hour and everything was running late so Robert Palmer's road crew started motioning to us to stop.
This bloke ran on and said 'If you don't stop playing, we're gonna pull the plug'.
Simon immediately walked to the mic and shouted 'F-ck Robert Palmer! F-ck rock'n'roll!' and we started playing a really slow version of 'A Forest' which lasted about 15 minutes.
It was f-cking brilliant. Unfortunately, when we finished, they threw all our stuff off the back of the stage ..."
Note: Simon shouted 'F-ck Robert Palmer! F-ck rock'n'roll!' after they played 'A Forest' not before!

Late in 1981 and early 1982 Adrian Belew introduced the instrumental versions of what would eventually become Neurotica as Manhattan, where Robert Fripp was let loose spraying fire guitar reminiscent of his electrifying Scary Monsters & Baby's on Fire adventures.
Along with this versions of Manhattan were also introduced some instrumentals that never made it into studio songs. Manhattan is an attempt to gather this instrumentals captured in posterity by tapers of Discipline, the band that eventually became known as King Crimson. (wikiopedia)
Fripp named the new quartet Discipline, and the band flew to England to rehearse and write. They made their live debut at Moles Club in Bath on 30 April 1981 and went on to tour the UK, supported by The Lounge Lizards. By October 1981, the four members of Discipline had made the collective decision to ditch their original name and to reactivate and use the name of King Crimson.
This is by no means the definite edition of Manhattan but is more like an Alpha version. If anyone has these instrumental gems from other performances please, feel free to improve this compilation, who knows, We may see the Manhattan Omega version some time…
