Not long after Tim and I got married, we were in need of paper. See, I was still in college and needed some paper to print out my reports, projects, etc., not to mention the other random needs one has for a sheet of paper. Well, we had a membership to Sam's Club, so on one of my visits, I thought, "Hey, I'll just pick up some paper while I'm here." So, I proceeded to put some paper in my cart.
I'll bet you're imagining me putting a ream or maybe a package containing a couple of reams of paper into my cart. Oh, you would be wrong, dreadfully wrong. I got a Sam's Club size BOX of paper--a BOX I could barely lift!
I brought my BOX (I have to capitalize it to emphasize how BIG it was) home, so proud of myself for having completed my errand. Tim got home and was aghast at the amount of paper I had just purchased.
Well, this BOX of paper has been through our entire 7 plus years of marriage so far. It has lived in four different homes with us, including a trip across the country. It served me well in my last year of college and now serves Tommy in his school activities.
Sadly, this reliable source of paper will soon be coming to an end. We've faithfully used it, sheet by sheet until now, of our BOX of paper, only one ream remains.

Dear BOX of paper, I bid you farewell.

You must be very paper savy! We've been married for almost 6 years and we have gone through atleast one case box (10 reams-assuming that is what you picked up) of paper. Although, I have a child that is majorly into drawing in any of her spare time as well as another child (and Husband) who is majorly into paper airplanes!
Only you guys would be so thrifty with your paper, and travel with it for seven years! I love it! Can't wait to see you guys in a couple of weeks!
That must have been some bargain! How much did you pay for that BOX?
You know, I don't even remember the price.
Anna, its easy to lug around your paper when you "don't have that much stuff."
Tim
Wow-must have been some box of paper, or you don't live in the same household as Tanner, my resident artist who can make almost anything out of paper-including skateboards and tables...but I have to say-I love the blog entry and it is so Melinda!!!(in only the best way with love)
Hi darling friend! I've missed you and have been thinking about you tons lately. CUTE, cute posts- and so sweet the pictures of hannah and tommy. I'm so sorry I've been lame with keeping in touch lately. Hope you'll forgive me. I always love reading your blog. you are a seriously funny girl. Love you!
Guess it's time to make a trip to Sam's...
Think about all the Utility T...I'm so impressed.
That's hysterical. I love that you packed it all the way from AZ to TN and then from TN back to AZ! It must be very hard to see it disappear! :)
That is awesome. So are you going to make a trip to Sam's Club and buy another box of paper? I think you should make it a tradition. Love the art work.
Melinda, your family is beautiful! (I've just been thinking that and thought it would be good to tell you.) Have a wonderful day!
Anna
