Crafts Galore Encore Challenge #87 - Anything Goes - Sponsor Morgan's Artworld

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

This is unusual for me posting on a Saturday. Well it is the first of the month and the new challenge has started at the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog. The theme is the ever popular Anything Goes and the sponsor this time is Morgan's Artworld

I did colour the image first. Then I found some Clarity Designer Paper that went with my colouring very well. I surrounded the image with Leafy Flourish die from the John Next Door range. I made flower with his Cornflower die.

There are many fabulous images in the store click on the logo and you will be taken there.

This image is called Pigs 1 and it is available HERE.  I printed the image onto Neenah cardstock and I coloured it with my Faber Castell Polychromo colouring pencils. I made a frame with the Double Pierced Rectangles from Creative Expressions.

There you have it my card. We have some friends who have a farm I might send it to one of them.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Enjoy your weekend.

Crafts Galore Encore Challenge #73 - Anything Goes - Sponsor Morgan's Artworld

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How is your weekend. We are off to Aldershot today to have a meeting about my husband's parents. There are no problems but we have regular meetings to keep everyone up to speed. Yesterday was spent catching up on jobs around the house that we never seem to get much time to do.

The Challenge 73 has just started at the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog. Our theme is Anything Goes and the sponsor this time is Morgan's Artworld. The prize is the three images that the Design Team have used for their creations.

I found different patterned papers in my stash.
 .

There are many wonderful images in the store. Click on the image above and you will be taken there.

This image is called Morgan's Teddy World Digi Stamp 5 and it is available HERE.  I created a frame for the image on the computer. Then I printed onto Neehah card stock and coloured the image with my Promarkers.

I made several flowers with the Cornflower die from the John Next Door range. I used and pale paper and added Distress ink to the centres. The leaves were made with the Leafy Flourish die from the John Next Door range.

A few of us on the Design Team have used this image. Our makes are quite different it shows just how versatile an image can be.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Crafts Galore Encore Challenge Blog - February Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

I hope you have had a good week and are ready for the weekend ahead. Today I am helping at a Felting Workshop we will be making pots. I just love making 3d objects with felt. On Sunday we might be able to meet our great niece for the first time. I do hope it works out, it would be lovely to see her while she is still a baby, they grow up so fast.

This the first of two posts from me today. I am only on four design teams and for the next two months two of them go live on the same day.

The new challenge starts today at the Crafts Galore Encore Challenge blog the theme is Anything Goes and this time the sponsor is the fabulous Morgan's Artworld. The Design Team had some fabulous images to use this time.

So this started life as a tatty pine frame from a charity shop. I started off with a couple of coats of Gesso and then I mixed some acrylic paint to cover the Gesso.

There are many wonderful images in the shop which is run through a Facebook page. Click on the logo and you will be taken there.

The prize is the three fabulous images the Design Team used as showcased here.

I used Cameo 14 she is available HERE.   She was printed onto Neenah Card Stock and coloured with Promarkers. I cut the image out by hand. The background came from the back of my Crafter's Companion Advent Calendar. She is behind glass in the frame.

I used the Ivy Spray and the Small Butterflies dies sets from John Next Door to decorate the frame once the paint was dry.

This is the frame hanging on the wall in our lounge. It does look very good on the wall.

Have a great weekend

Through the Craft Room Door (TTCRD) Guest Designer

Hello My Crafty Blog Friends and Visitors

How is your week going? I am now into the thick of invigilating. This time the Year 10's are doing practice exams. It is nice to have a part time job.

Back last year I was a winner of one of the challenges at the Through the Craft Room Door (TTCRD) Challenge blog. As a result I was asked to be a Guest Designer for the challenge that starts today. I was very lucky and I was able  to work with a beautiful image from Morgan's Artworld who is sponsoring the challenge.

The backing card came from the back of my Advent Calendar. The card was embossed with the Heart Lattice Embossing folder from Creative Expressions. In the corner I added the Lattice die from the Sandwich Box die set from John Next Door.

The image I chose to work with was the Old Roses Frame.  The images are available to sell in Albums within a Facebook Group called Morgan's Artworld Digital Image Shop which you can reach HERE.

I created a background on the computer and I added a personalised  greeting at the same time. I coloured the image with Promarkers. I added some die cuts to enhance the design along with some lace.

This is a card I made for a commission I am sure the recipients have it now.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Happy Crafting

Crafty Catz Challenge Blog - Anything Goes with the optional twist of Beartastic- Sponsor Melonheadz

Hello again My Crafty Blog Friends

I am back again. I do hope that you have a wonderful weekend. As usual we will have a busy weekend ahead of us.

Just now the new challenge has started on the Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge blog the sponsor this time is Melonheadz and the theme is Anything Goes with the optional twist of Beartastic that means to feature a bear in your make. This time the Design Team used their own images.

I started by creating a background with Distress Oxides. I do love the chalky finish these give,

There is lots of inspiration on the website and a link to the shop if you click on the logo you will be taken there.

I have had this image for some while it is from Morgan's Art World and is called Ted it is still available HERE. The image was coloured with Promarkers.

The flowers I found in my stash and they were white. I sprayed them with ink to change the colour,   a lot of mess was made.

This is a really useful Tattered Lace die. This time all the dies I used were from Tattered Lace.

I was rather pleased with how this card turned out.

I would like to enter challenge 22 at Morgan's ArtWorld.

Have a great weekend.

Happy Crafting

Unicorn Challenge Blog - Clean and Simple

Hi My Crafty Blog Friends

I hope you are having a good week. There is no way round this there will be two posts from me today. Two of the design teams I am on have challenges that both start today.

This is the first card I am sharing with you today. The new  challenge starts on the Unicorn Challenge Blog the theme is CAS/ Clean and Simple. We have a sponsor who has kindly given the Design Team wonderful images to use.

The theme of the challenge is Clean and Simple and this is what I tried to achieve with this design. I matched the mats to the colours I had used to colour the image. I always do the colouring first and match everything after.

The images are from Morgan's Artworld if you click on the image above you will be taken to the website where you can buy the images.

This is the "TED" printable stamp sheet. He was coloured with Promarkers.

The sentiment was cut with one of Joanna Sheen's Signature dies.

He is a very cute bear. I will be back a little later today.

Happy Crafting.

Hugs Jackie
