My Secret Admirer

The culprit, a pack rat like one in the picture above. The "crime", leaving presents for me every day. We have a small outbuilding that is occupied by three of my cats. At the entrance is a small redwood porch. Every morning for the last three months a rat has left me small gifts. The usual find is litter box remnants that I have put in the garbage. Today it was a mummified mouse accompanied by the usual treats. I sweep the porch every morning, next day there are more goodies. I wish I had a camera to set there at night.  As we speak DH is moving the dried mouse and I`ll sweep up the cat poop yet again.  You never know what surprises you`ll find around here. Have a nice day,

I start this post with a picture of a lion that daily crosses through my son`s property. Beautiful ! This is near Prescott.
