Hej där!

Fina nya motiv gör att det kliar i julkortsfingrarna och det är allt bra! För varje år blir det gärna lite snärjigt när det väl närmar sig postdax... I alla fall för mig!

Här har jag gått loss med distressad bakgrund och bjällror i milda färger, kul att de finns i flera storlekar!

All the new christmassy motifs really make me want to create! And that's good because when last day for the mailbox appears I always feel like there's not enough time....

For this card I've used distress inks for the background as well as the motifs. I really like that there's three different sizes.

Först guldembossade jag bjällrorna, sen färgade jag in motiv och bakgrund. Allra sist skvätte jag lite färg.

First I heat embossed the motifs in gold, then I colored the background and last i finished it by adding some sprinkles.

I'm sure you too have that friend who is always there for you! A hug in an envelope is a nice way to show appreciation.


Texten är embossad för att sticka ut lite mer och den randiga cirkeln är fäst med hjälp av foamtejp.
The text is heat embossed and I've attached the striped circle with foam tape.

Jag hade tänkt göra ett höstkort med lingonkrans, med den här fina stämpeln men hösten hann ta slut innan jag kom till skott så nu fick det bli ett julkort med mistelkrans i stället :). Jag embossade stämpeln i guld på kraftfärgad cardstock och målade bladen och bären med färgpennor. Texten är embossad i vitt. Kvadraten är utstansad med en die med "sömmar" längs kanterna. Storleken på kortet är ca 12x12 cm.

I was going to make a fall card with a lingonberry wreath, using this beautiful stamp. But before I knew it, fall was over so I decided to make a christmas card instead and let the wreath be mistletoes instead. I heat embossed the wreath in gold on kraft colored cardstcok and colored the berries and the leaves with coloring pencils. The sentiment is heat embossed in white. I used a stitched die to cut out the kraft square. The size of the card is 4.75"x4.75".

Ibland vill man skicka ett kort till nån sådär bara för att, en liten hälsning helt enkelt. Och just enkelt är lite som det här kortet blev: en embossad text på en infärgad bakgrund.

Sometimes you want to send a card to someone for no special reason, just a little hello from a friend. This is that kind of card, clean and simple, just a heat embossed text on a colored background. You'll find the text in English as well: Have a nice day.

Att leka lite med oregelbundet placerade cirklar ger en slags bokeh-effekt, oskarp bakgrund på foton du vet.

I've been playing a bit with white circles, inspired by the blurry background you sometimes see at fotos.

I've used one of the new alfas: the slim and tall one. I diecut in foam, teh paper and glued it together. Then I gave the letters a coat of glossy accent.
