 AD France June 2012
Isola Galli

In 1917, Leonid Massine, Stravinsky and Picasso came to Positano
to visit their eccentric friend Misha Semenov who lived naked in a old mill.
Seven years later, Massine bought the archipelago facing his friend's house,
built a house and a chapel, restored the old tower and carried on with Le corbusier's design
of a magnificent pool dug in the rock and facing Capri.
Rudolph Nureev already sick, bought the property in 1989,
turned the tower into a dancing studio,
dying shortly after in 1993.
It is today the property of Giovanni Russo.

 Isola Li Galli, facing Positano,
was once the proprerty of
Leonide Massine
later on of Rudolf Noureev, and now
belongs to Giovanni Russo and his wife Nicoletta
who restored it completely, entertain friends
who come with their own chopper or yacht.
Capri, Positano, Amalfi
was always the Emperors favorite
and for good reason.
It is heaven.
