The recent works on clay remind me of Pompei, shadows covered in ash, fossilized in their daily occupation. A snapshot. The way they turned out was not entirely predictable. It never stops to fascinate me.

New works on clay. Those where made before summer but just got back from the workshop.

The raw clay, before it goes in the oven, looks like smooth leather. It is at this stage that I like it best but it never stays like that.
