Sending Holiday Cheer!

Hi everyone and happy New Year!!!
I hope you are all well!
I'm so happy to say that my year is starting off wonderfully as I am a guest designer this month for
Yay!!

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today...

Isn't that little Polar Bear holding his hot cup of cocoa the cutest?

Here is how I created my card...
I covered my top folding A2 cardbase with some snowflake patterned paper and doodled around the perimeter with a black micron pen. I used a internal scallop frame die to die cut some red patterned paper & added a little snowy hill with my sentiment stamped onto it. I colored my little Polar Bear with my Copic markers, paper piecing his scarf, and used the coordinating die to cut him out. I placed him behind my hill and backed my frame with some vellum to mute the background around my bear just a bit. I added some snowflakes and dots to complete my card.

Copic Colors Used:
Bear: W1, W3, W7, W9, RV00, RV000
Mug: E25, R29, C00, E40, BG11, BG13

Peppermint Kisses

 Hi everyone!
I hope you are doing well!
Today I wanted to stop by to share a sweet little Christmas card that I made using a super cute image from Digi Doodle Studios called Jingle Jay.

Look how sweet he is!
I started my card by first creating my card base by trimming down some striped patterned paper and covering my white A2 card base. I added a red strip in the middle and added some doodling lines around the perimeter. I printed out my Jingle Jay image onto a piece of white cardstock and colored the image in with my Copic markers. I used a die to cut it out and then used the die again to cut out the red glitter frame. I added the scroll frame to my card and then layered my image inside so that it nested inside my frame. I finished my card with a few gems, some white doodles and some clear wink of stella inside the lantern.

Copic Colors Used:
Skin: E50, E51, E21
Hair: E31, E33, E35, E37
Greens: G43, G46, G29
Reds: R29, R39

Grays: C00, C0, C1, C2, C5

I would also love to play along in the following challenges:

Warm Cocoa Wishes!

 Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a fabulous start!
Can you believe we are in December already??
I'm pretty sure that the older I get, the faster time goes by haha!

I wanted to stop in and share a fun little treat pocket that I created for someone,
as well as playing along with a few challenges.

Here is a look at my project...

Super cute right??
This adorable image is called Sophie Mae Christmas and she is a newly released digital stamp from Digi Doodle Studios. As soon as I saw her, I thought she was so incredibly cute and had to have her haha!

Here is how I created my cocoa holder...

I started by creating my base by using an envelope die from Jaded Blossom, scoring the sides and bottom to create a "box/pocket" and cutting off the top flap from the envelope that would end up being in the front. I don't really remember the exact measurement of the score lines, I placed my cocoa packets on top and scored accordingly. Before gluing the box together, I adhered my patterned paper to make it a bit easier.
I printed out Sophie Mae Christmas onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and colored her in with my Copic markers. Once I had her colored, I fussy cut her out and added some white flocking powder to her little hair pom. I decided to add a little more dimension, so I printed her out again, colored her mitten and coffee cup, fussy cut it out and added to that my image with foam tape to give a little 3D look to the image. I die cut a scallop circle and layered my sentiment underneath, adding both to the front of my pocket. I popped up my image with more foam tape and added some snowflake sequins and Nuvo drops around her. I finished my project by creating a double bow and adding some festive bells to the center.

You Made The Nice List!

Hi everyone!
I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start!
Today I am popping by to share an adorable Christmas card that I created, with a few challenges in mind. I will link the challenges that I am entering below :)

Here is a look at the card that I created...

Digi Doodle Studios recently released some fun new images and they are oh so cute!!
I saw this image called Cherry Peppermint Winter Bunny and thought she would be so fun to color and create a card with!

I printed out my image onto a piece of white Hammermill cardstock and used my Scan N Cut to cut her out. Once she was cut out, I colored her with my Copic markers. I created my cardbase with some white cardstock and added a strip of striped paper down the middle. I added some die cut scallops to each side to help frame my striped paper just a bit. I die cut a Stitched Arch using more white cardstock, stamped my sentiment and added a green thread bow and adhered it to my card. I popped up the Cherry Peppermint Winter Bunny with some foam tape and added some white Nuvo Drops to finish my card.
So cute!!

Copic Colors Used:

A Merry Little Christmas!

Hi crafty friends!

I hope you are having a fabulous day!
I'm so happy to be back as a guest designer for Digi Doodle Studios!
Digi Doodle Studios is a digital stamp company that has some of the cutest images!!  There is so much versatility with how big or small you want your image to be with digital stamps, not to mention the storage space saved in my craft room lol!

Here is a look at the card that I created to share with you today:

Isn't this image, Snowdrop & Niblet, so cute?

I started by creating a white A2 top folding card and covering the front with some snowflake patterned paper. I colored my Snowdrop & Niblet image with my Copic markers, fussy cut it out and set it aside while I worked on my card. I used a scallop frame die to cut out my frame, cutting the outer scallop portion out 3 times to give some dimension. I placed the inner frame onto my card front and layered my Snowdrop and Niblet image on top. I created a hill from some stitched border dies, stamped my sentiment and adhered it to the backside of my scallop frame. I added my frame to the front of my card and added a bit of glitter to the hills and leaves. I decided to do a little fussy cutting to the present for a little interest so I found some patterned paper that coordinated with the colors that I had colored my image, ran it through my printer, cut it out and glued it to my present. I finished my card with a bit of hemp cording that I tied into a bow and some white gel pen accents.

I think this is just adorable!! I can't help but smile when I look at this cute image!

Copic Colors Used:
Bunny: W0, W1, W3, R000, R00, R01

Gingerbread Christmas Cards

Hi everyone!
Happy Friday!! I hope you are having a great day so far!
Today I wanted to pop in and share a couple of simple cards that I made for a couple of different challenges.

The challenges that I would like to enter are:
&

Here is a look at the cards that I created...

Cute right?? I fell in love with this stamp set as soon as I saw it!
First I created my card front using the above sketch as my inspiration on how to lay out everything. I decided to cut some thin strips of white cardstock and glue them on top of my patterned papers so that I could add a little separation. I colored my little gingerbread from the Gingerbread Joy stamp set from Simon Says Stamp with my Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I placed it into the center of my circle and added the sentiment underneath. I added some glitter the the gumdrops on the gingerbread and placed some enamel dots and hearts to finish my card.

While I had everything out, I decided to make a second card.
I made this one the same way, just used different patterned papers and a different image/sentiment.

I thought that sentiment was absolutely perfect to go along with that image haha!!

So cute!!

Copic Colors Used:
Gingerbread: E40, E41, E42, E43, R20
Cup: B00, BG53, BG57, E23, E25, E29

Mrs. Claus Baking Co.

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday!

It's my day to post over on the Jaded Blossom Blog
and keeping with the "Christmas in July" mindset that I am currently in, I decided to make a Christmas card to add to my stash for this upcoming holiday season.

Here is a look at the card that I created:

Isn't this Mrs. Claus the sweetest? I just think she is so adorable!
I created my card by using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 and cutting out two pieces of patterned paper. I cut down the striped patterned paper into a 1.75" strip and adhered it to my other piece of patterned paper before adding them to my white A2 card base. I cut out a smaller scallop by using the Scallop Rectangle Dies 2 once again and stamped my greeting from the Mrs. Claus Baking Co. stamp set into the bottom right corner. I added some doodling and then popped up the sentiment piece onto my card with foam tape. I stamped Mrs. Claus with some Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with my Copic markers. I fussy cut her out and added her to my sentiment panel. I added some holly from the Christmas Dies and some more doodling to the perimeter of my card to complete the look.

I added just a touch of sparkle to her hair bow and to the center of the heart cookie.

One Christmas card down, many more to go haha!

Copic Colors Used:
Skin: E50, E51, E21, E04, R20
Hair: C0, C1, C3
Dress: R24, R27, R29, R39
Cookies: R01, R00, E43, BG11, BG15, R20, R21, E31, E33, E35, E27

Anything Goes, with the option of Christmas in July!
We would love to see your projects that use those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!

Here is a look at what I created to share with you today...

I love being able to get a little ahead of the holiday season and do as many Christmas in July projects as I can, so this challenge was the perfect time to make a couple of gift card holders.
I used the Stocking Gift Card Die and cut it out twice (to make 2 gift cards) from some white cardstock. I cut them out again, using some patterned papers so that I could layer on top of my white base. I added a little tag that I created using the Gift Tags stamp set and the Mini Tag Dies 2 and adhered that to the upper corner. I created a little double bow using the Bow Dies and added a little puffy Santa sticker to the center before adding it to the top of my tag.

I added some white doodles and some small puffy stickers to finish my gift card holders.

Be sure to check out the Jaded Blossom blog to see what the rest of the DT made, they never disappoint!

Joyful Wishes!

 Hi everyone!
I hope your day is off to a great start!
I wanted to pop in real quick and share a card that I created to play along with a couple of challenges.

The challenges that I am playing along with are:
&

Here is a look at the card that I created:

I thought this sketch was so neat and could not wait to give it a try. I started by creating my cardbase from some red cardstock and then layering a piece of Kraft cardstock on top. I took some scrap pieces of patterned paper that I had leftover from a patterned paper pad and cut them down to the small squares and layered them onto my Kraft piece, lining them up as straight and evenly as possible.  This adorable little deer from Unity Stamps was the perfect fit! I stamped her onto a piece of white cardstock and colored the image with my Copic markers. I added some doodling around all my squares, and my kraft layer and then added a small little red bow to her antler. I finished my card by adding my sentiment, trimming it down to size and popping it up with some foam tape.
I think this turned out so cute!!

Copics Used:

From Our Gnome to Yours...

Hi everyone & happy December!!

Today starts a new challenge over at the Jaded Blossom blog!!
This month is all about Shaker Cards!!
We would love to see your project that uses some of those awesome Jaded Blossom stamps/dies!

Challenge Guidelines:
1) Project must be new for this challenge, no back linking
2) Project must have a Jaded Blossom stamp, die, or stencil somewhere on it.
3) Only one entry per person

Here is a look at the card that I created for the challenge:

I'm still in need of Christmas cards (eek!!) so this was the perfect time to create a fun and festive shaker!
I started by covering an A2 cardbase with some green patterned paper. I cut out a few scallop frames using the Rectangle Internal Scallops, stacking them together for a little stability and depth. I added a sheet of acetate and added another scallop frame using some white glitter cardstock. I flipped it over, filled it with some sequins and clay bits before adding a piece of patterned paper to the back to seal it up. I adhered it to the front of my card and built my little tag by using the Treat Tag Die, Gnome For Christmas Stamp Set and the Bow Dies. I glued that to the center of my shaker window and Voila!

I think shaker cards are so fun!

Let It Snow

Hey Everyone!
It's time for the Black Friday Sale & Release over at Jaded Blossom!

Jaded Blossom is releasing a few new items!

Here is what I created using some of the new items..

This card was so easy!
I started by creating a white A2 card base and using the Rectangle Strip Card Mat Die to cut out a piece of white cardstock to layer on top. Once I had that adhered, I used the Rectangle Strip Card Mat Die again to cut out strips from 4 different patterned papers. Once I had them cut out, I layered them into the white frame and used the Winter Wishes stamp set to stamp my greeting along the bottom of the card. I cut out a piece of Vellum using the Stitched Oval Dies and placed a snowman that I created using the Snowman Dies on top. I popped up the Vellum Oval using some foam tape and placed a little candy cane from the Christmas Embellishment Cluster in the snowman's hand. I wrapped some twine around my card at the top, tying it off with a bow. I finished my card by placing some snowflakes cut out using the Winter Banner Dies 2, some snowflake sequins and some white Nuvo drops.

Don't forget we also have our Black Friday sale going on!

Your purchase earns you tickets!

Also the return of the Golden Ticket

Our design team has made some wonderful projects using the new items! Make sure to check them all out. Links below..
