Happy Tuesday! It is going to be another fabulous month featuring awesome Twine from Trendy Twine :)

This month we are showcasing the yummy Strawberry Cupcake twine. This twine is absolutely beautiful and goes so well with all those pink projects that you may be making for Valentines Day, not to mention any other time of the year. Who doesn't love pink right? I decided to make a Valentine's Day banner to hang in my house for the month of February. Here is what I created:



and a couple of close-ups:





I used Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge for my banner pieces and cut them each out at 6". I then cut out the frames from the Sophisticated Cricut Cartridge at 4.25". My letters are from the Storybook Cartridge and cut out at 2.5" each. Those cute little cupids are from the Sweethearts Cartridge and cut out at 2.25". After I had each piece put together, I ran some tulle through the top openings to connect them. I then threaded some of that yummy Strawberry Cupcake Trendy Twine through some little heart buttons across the top. The doilies are just regular doilies that you can find in the cake section of your craft store.

Hi there! Today I wanted to share with you a card that I made for the challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut---Use a label shape other than a plain circle.

I decided to use this challenge as an opportunity to make my husband's Valentine's Day card. Here is what I created for the challenge:



First, I have to say that this card is so much prettier in person. I could not seem to be able to pick up all the shimmer on it for some reason. I cut my label out of Twinkle Toes at 3.75" and then used some white Pearl Mist and made it really shimmer. My heart was cut out of Everyday Pop-Up Cards at 2.25". I cut my key out of Sweethearts at 1.25. I cut 3 keys out and layered them on top of each other to give it some thickness. I then added some pearls to my label and tied my bow and hung the key from it. So quick to make but I think he is really going to like it.

It's Wednesday! That means the start of another great challenge at Cooking With Cricut! This week the challenge is Emboss It! It doesn't matter if you choose dry or wet embossing, just as long as you emboss on your project somewhere. Here is what I came up with:



I used the love language cuttlebug embossing folder and embossed little hearts on the tree as well as the background of my card. I used the sweethearts cricut cartridge to cut out the tree at 4" and the phrase "You & Me" at 1.5". The inside reads, "The Best Is Yet To Be". Happy Wednesday! Are you ready for another great Cooking with Cricut challenge? This week is Challenge #13, Use a minimum of 3 Flowers on Project. If you are stumped for ideas, check out Cooking with Cricut to see some sketches that you can incorporate into your projects this week, not to mention the great inspiration from the Cooking with Cricut Chefs! Here is what I came up with:



I am slowly making progress on all my valentine projects! Yay! It feels good to be a little ahead for once. I love this doily card from the Wild Card Cartridge! It is one of my favorites from that cartridge. I cut the doily card out at 5.5", as well as the pink liner. The girl on the scooter was cut out of the Sweethearts Cartridge at 3". I used a fiskars flower punch for my flowers, added some bling, some stickles, a bow and of course, some faux stitching. I am so happy with the way this turned out. Happy Tuesday! I finally got to craft today! Yay! I hope you were able to as well! I got the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge awhile ago and just never got around to opening it and playing around with it so that was my goal for today. For fun I decided to make a lovey dovey card. I like to surprise my hubby with them every once in awhile and I was running low on my supply so here is what I came up with:




I cut out the couple with the Sweethearts cartridge at 3 3/4". I loved the silhouette look, so I decided to go with that and not cut out the clothes. All in all the card is pretty simple but I just love the look of it. This card was also made for the My Pink Stamper Challenge of "Anything Goes".
