House Mouse Thinking of You Card

House-Mouse stamps are the cutest. I used this "We Heart You" stamp that comes with the sentiment to make a thinking of you card. I'm thinking of switching out the sentiment to make this a Valentine's Day card too.

This is a simple card to make since it fills up the card and you don't have to worry about the layout. The image was stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine ink and colored with Prisma Colored Pencils. Adhesives from Scrapbook Adhesives were used to stick things down and to pop them up.

You can see the House-Mouse collection at Spellbinders HERE

Bloom With Grace

Hi my crafty friends, today I have a clean and simple card using the new, cute Lily of the Valley House-Mouse Designs stamp from Stampendous

To make my card, I stamped Mixed Media White Paper with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and colored with Prisma Colored Pencils.  It was then layer onto a slightly larger blue panel. The sweet sentiment is from the new True Friends Perfectly Clear Set which was also stamped in black and the word "Bloom" was outlined with the same colored pencil as the flowers, it was then popped up on The white textured paper from a 12" x 12" paper pad and gives a touch of texture to the card. This was then glued to a blue card.

A House-Mouse Birthday

Have you seen all of the House-Mouse Designs that Stampendous has in their new catalog?!  They are oh my gosh so cute!  I like them on my cards but not in my house hahahaha.

Here's how my card was made-

  1. I stamped the Birthday Cupcake on white card stock with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and colored it with Prisma Colored Pencils.
  2. I used a brick stencil to add bricks in the background.  I didn't do any masking, I was just careful and it worked out!
  3. The panel was layered onto blue cardstock and mounted to a white panel measuring
  4. 4" x 5 1/4".
  5. Place two of Extreme Double-Sided Tape above and below the image as shown. Remove the liner of the wider tape, sprinkle with embossing powder from the Mermaid Sea 5-Jar Embossing Powder Kit and emboss. Remove the liner of the thinner tape, sprinkle with another color from the Kit and emboss.
  6. Stamp sentiment on white cardstock that has been stenciled with bricks, with black ink.
  7. Use the oval die from the  POP Frame Die Set to die-cut the sentiment and layer it on green cardstock that was cut using a die from the same set.
  8. Pop the sentiment up on the card with foam squares.
Be sure to share your projects made with Stampendous products on the Stampendous! Fans Facebook page, we'd love to see what you're making!!

Enjoy Today

Hi, I hope you're enjoying your day just like this cute little mouse is floating down the river.  The stamp is Stream Float from Stampendous.

Sometimes House-Mouse Designs stamps might look a little intimidating to color, but I have a hack for you.

I colored the mouse and flower with Prisma Colored Pencils and the hack comes in for the background.  I used decorative chalks (Jane Davenport) to color the grass by using a flat paintbrush and green chalk, I then shade some of the grass blades with pencils.  I did the same for the water using blue chalk the using a darker blue pencil to do the shading, this saves a ton of time.

The background watercolor paper is from a decorative paper pack that I picked up at Hobby Lobby, it looks like it was handmade!

Christmas Tag

When you make your Christmas cards, do you also make tags for your gifts?  It's an easy and cute way to make your gifts look a little extra special.  This cute little Christmas stamp is from the Stampendous Happy Holiday Perfectly Clear Set.  I used Shabby White Embossing Enamel also from Stampendous for the snow to give it a little texture.  Rather than punching a hole at the top to tie the tag to the gift with ribbon, I choose to use a small clothespin, it's a fun alternative.
