Make a Wish

I've pulled a card from one of my Dirty Dozen folders to share with you today. This is from August 2008 which was my second month on the DD! Gosh I still remember how nervous I was!
August 2008 was All That Glitters.
I used a set from GinaK called Make a Wish.

Happy Birthday to You!

So last night when I got home from work I turned the oven on and popped a frozen lasagna in....two hours later I came up to check on it and ummmm it was still FROZEN....I had set the temp to 400 but forgot to hit START...ugh! LOL darn digital stoves!
I've been dealing with some issues at work and haven't been in the stamping mood when I get home. Total bummer!
This card was from last year's Dirty Dozen December Gallery. I can't recall what the theme was that month(my last one...sniff sniff)

I'm off to work! Have a wonderful Saturday!

Warm Wishes

Hey all!
I just can't force myself to go downstairs and stamp! My little heater broke and without it I can't keep warm enough...lol So I am going to share another card from my Dirty Dozen days at SCS.
This card seems appropriate for what we are experiencing here. You know....funny fact....I heard on the news tonight that we were the SECOND COLDEST place in the WORLD last weekend! Seriously! Get out, eh?
You'll notice my "naked" buttons....haha! I no longer leave them NAKED after Jody said it's not right ;)

Enjoy...

the day off! That's what I plan to do! Although my day will still be busy. But then when is life not busy these days, right?
I was cruising through some of my folders last night and I don't think I shared this Dirty Dozen card with you. It's ALMOST a SU! only card. I'm pretty sure I added some stardust stickles to the flower centers. The challenge for this card was to use the In Colours...all of them ;)
I did it! I can't recall the last time I used those Build A Brads....hmmmm! I can remember when I first got them and used them on EVERYTHING! Time to dig into my stash again!

Dreams

Happy Friday!
This week I'm really struggling with time management....lol
Just when I thought I had plenty of time to stamp...wham....something else comes up...ugh!

Dirty Dozen Diva

Happy Sunday!
Whew! Soon I'll have a breather AND some stamping time!
I've been working on some DT commitments in my spare time, that you'll see while I'm away but in the meantime I'll share another one of my Dirty Dozen cards. This one is from August and I think the theme had something to do with bling. Forgive me for not having time to go look it up ;)
The stamp comes from a Unity set called Diva, I think....lol
I added stickles to her tiara and earrings.
There was something about this layout that I REALLY liked and I'm pretty sure a year ago, I used it often.

SU! Only Lighthouse MIM cards

Again, I've been a slacker! When I got home from work yesterday I just wanted to curl up on the couch with a warm blanket! It's FREEZING here! I just couldn't get it together and head to the basement(where it's cold) to stamp...lol
So I dug deep in my file folders and pulled out this old Dirty Dozen card from July 2008. These are SU! only cards for the More Is More Challenge.

Good Friends

Wow, what a busy weekend! I'm so thankful to have today off work and Chloe having a PD day means we can just relax together!! I'm looking forward to not rushing this morning to get ready and out the door by 7 am!
Since I worked yesterday I didn't have any stamping time. So once again, I've pulled out an old Dirty Dozen card from November 2008. I think the theme was Chick Lit. One that scared me when Carole first suggested it...lol
Was it about girls, chickens, literature? Whatever you wanted!
For this card I went with the literature theme.

We are having such amazing weather lately! All next week looks to be beautiful. Even the first day of Fall we are supposed to be in the high 70's...LOVE it!
I was busy at work yesterday and when I got home I just relaxed on the couch again.

I decided since I didn't stamp last night after work that I still needed to show you something today ;) How about one of my Dirty Dozen cards from September 2008's Gallery?!
September 2008 was all about Colours of the Rainbow. Each of us on the DD split up and took one colour to concentrate on. I'm not sure what I was thinking when I took purple...ugh! LOL! It was MUCH harder than I thought.
