“Mapped it out” is the most underrated skill. What are you learning in Fabric right now?
I’ve started a deep dive into Microsoft Fabric. First step: Deconstructing the syllabus. I mapped it out on the whiteboard to visualize the workload. The "Implement & Manage" section alone is 30-35% 👀 #MicrosoftFabric #DP700 #Azure #LearningInPublic

💪 Practice by doing >>> Shoutout to Veena for this end-to-end Power BI Sales Dashboard!
After sharing an Excel dashboard a few days ago, I wanted to keep the momentum going and build something similar in Power BI. I’ve been focusing on practicing by doing, and this is my second end-to-end dashboard, where I applied what I’ve been learning around data modeling, DAX, and interactivity. Sharing the Power BI Sales Dashboard I worked on 👇 🚀 Power BI Sales Dashboard | End-to-End Data Analytics Project 🔧 What I did in this project: -Cleaned and structured the dataset using Power Query Editor (handling data consistency, filtering, and transformations) -Created DAX measures for Total Revenue, Total Cost, Total Profit, Units Sold, and key performance indicators -Designed KPI cards at the top of the report for quick executive-level insights -Built interactive visuals including: -Total Revenue from 2015–2019 by product -Profit by Category to identify top-performing segments -Revenue vs Cost comparison by product to analyze margins -Units sold by year to highlight sales distribution over time -Added slicers and filters (Category, Product, Time Period, Revenue range) for flexible analysis -Implemented bookmarks and buttons to create smooth navigation and improve user experience -Focused on clean formatting, consistent color themes, and a business-friendly layout 📊 Outcome: This dashboard enables users to quickly assess profitability, compare revenue against costs, and drill into performance by product, category, and time period — all within a single, intuitive view. Always open to feedback and continuously working on improving my data storytelling and dashboard design skills. #PowerBI #DataAnalytics #BusinessAnalytics #DataAnalyst #BusinessAnalyst #TorontoTech #AnalyticsToronto #DataCareers #PowerQuery #DAX #BIReporting #AnalyticsPortfolio
