Rajasthani Panchmel Dal 

One of the delicious Rajasthani Dal variety is - Panchmel Dal or Panchratna Dal. It is made by mixing all 5 kinds of dal- Moong, Urad, Chana, Tuvar & Masoor dal in equal proportions. 
 • It is best enjoyed with steam rice, roti & tastes great even with Baati. 

Recipe- 
 • Take 1/4 bowl of all 5 dals & wash it. 
 • Add 1 & 1/2 cup water , 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, salt & few cloves & Pressure cook (5 whistles) 
 • Take ghee or oil in a pan, add cloves, black pepper, dry red chillies, bay leaf, cumin seeds & heeng. Add ginger - garlic paste & green chillies & saute. Add 1 chopped onion and saute. Add 1 chopped tomato & cook till it is mushy. Add red chilly powder, turmeric & salt. Add boiled dal & add water as per desired consistency. Add chopped coriander & enjoy!
