All Things Beautiful

Hello, Diana today combining some of my favorite toys.

I started with the large stitched die from MFT Blueprints 13 die set, and cut the Kraft card stock with it. I embossed the Kraft with a Sizzix wood grain embossing folder.

Next, I used a stamp from the ODBD Faith stamp set, and cut it with the bracket tag die from MFT Blueprints 13.

I then added the leaves from the Impression Obsession Small Leaf Set. I popped up the leaves with Joy! Small Foam Pads, and tied it with some twine.

I also made a tiny bow using the Bow Easy and glued it on with Art Institute Dries Clear Adhesive.

That's it for today! We hope you will take our challenge each week!

Birthday Wishes Tag

Hi, it's Jenny today, with a tag I made inspired by the current challenge. It's a color challenge this week with Reds, Pinks, Blue, Green and Yellow. I was trying to figure out how to incorporate all these colors when I got the idea to use my distress ink.

I started by cutting a tag from an old manila folder, using a Tim Holtz tag die from my stash. I placed a Memory Box stencil, very similar to the Memory Box Pattern Tula stencil sold at Classy Cards 'n Such on top, while I sponged various distress inks using a Mini Ink Blending Tool. To get the colors to blend and add a little glam, I sprayed Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Pearl over the top.

While the ink was drying, I cut the "Birthday Wishes" words out of the Impression Obsession Greeting set, and colored them with blue distress ink. When the tag was dry, I glued the words and  Water Dew Drops to the surface, added some string and was done. This almost has a tie dye appearance which is kind of fun. I think I could use it both for a gift for an adult or for a child!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you can join in the challenge this week!

Just Because Tag

It's Jenny posting today with a tag I created. Tags are so much fun to create.  I always feel free to just play and mix things up.

I cut a tag from an old folder.  The damask pattern is a stencil from my stash that I covered with Translucent Embossing Paste. While the embossing paste was drying I stamped images from the Parisian Postcard set in black on the right. I added a few more stamps over the embossing paste after it dried. Then I added and blended Distress Spray Stains and some Distress Ink from my stash. I cleaned off the stenciled portion with a towel and then laid out my embellishments.

I found these two flowers already made in a scrap bin. They were both cut from Heartfelt Creations dies. The yellow rose was created using the Botanical Wings die, yellow Glimmer Mist and Clear Stickles. The blue flower was made with the Arianna Blooms stamps and dies and colored with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink.

I tucked leaves from Cheery Lynn's Tropical Leaves die and branches from Memory Box's Meadowbird Branch die behind the flowers. I added a sparkly Clear Rock Candy center to the yellow rose, and a Rhinestone to the blue Arianna flower.

The Just Because sentiment is from the JustRite Floral Labels Two Stamp Set.  The circle it's on is a small one from a Spellbinders die from my stash and the center was colored with distress ink.

You're So Sweet

Hello friends.  Joy today showing you a Gift Tag I made using supplies from the Classy Cards 'n Such on line store.

The  brown designer paper is from Lady Rose by KaiserCraft. This was cut and then placed on a square of white card stock that had been embossed with the embossing folder by Crafts Too called Scrollworks.

The sentiment 'You're So Sweet', from Hugs and Kisses Sentiments by JustRite, was stamped on one of the die cuts from Lady Rose. This was attached to a folded square piece of the Lady Rose paper. This 6.5 x 6.5 paper pad has 4 pages of the most beautiful die cuts you have ever seen!

A hole was punched in the corner and a little Eggshell Seam Binding bow, was added so that the tag could be attached to the handles of a gift bag.

Thank you for looking at my project.  Have a HAPPY stamping day!

Floral Postcard Tag

Hello! It's Gracie and today I have the pleasure of sharing a card I created with supplies from Classy Cards 'n Such! This time I created a vintage card with lots of stamping and a few die cuts.

I like to use tags on cards. I think it's a nice twist that gives a card a different look. Today's card is the perfect example!

I started out by die cutting a beige base layer using Spellbinders A2 Matting Basics A. Then I also die cut a beautiful border with the very  Spellbinders Mary Border Strip and three small medallions with Fancy Label Tags Two.

I adhered the beige layer to the brown card base with 1/2" Scor-Tape. Next I attached the border on the side and then I added a piece of pink ribbon on top of it. (The store has Egg Shell seam binding that can be colored to match your project). I also adhered the three small medallions on top of the border.

Once I added all the die cuts I mounted the previously made tag, which was stamped with many images from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, Flourishes and other stamps in my collection.

I used Gold detail powder to emboss the PostCard sentiment on the tag. And decorated it with a piece of Fused string pearl beads in golden ivory. To finish my design I attached a pretty bow, embellished with a large gold vintage button.

Hope you liked my card! I invite you to visit CCNS store! Remember that if you purchase you can get 10% off using my discount code Gracie-10.

Thanks so much for visiting today!
