Too Early

On the way to work yesterday I saw this "chestnut-baby" - hey, you´re way too early, the best summer-month is yet to come!!
(I hope.)

Rain, thunder and lightning was predicted, the night before it had started already so I cut off electricity for internet and TV.

... did I?
Also TV? Suddenly at work I wasn´t that sure anymore as I hardly watch TV (hello Jamie Oliver).

So, come lunch break I didn´t warm up my self-cooked stuff - I grabbed a breadroll and ran home.
Cer-tain-ly, certainly I´d cut off everything correctly.

It´s plain awful! The older I get the more often I think, "did I really...?". Bad!
Can you relate?

As you can see I took a different route home from the hospital - in sunshine btw.

"Certainly" there was no thunder or lightning, just a wee bit of rain, Murphy got me again!
I was too early, lightning´ll struck some time later when I´m not prepared, Murphy thinks, I guess.

Anyhows, teamleader S all week coudn´t make room for me so she decided to start with me at 6:00 am, hence I wanted be done with brekkie by then.

There is a bakery that does not use icky mayonnaise but butter and in order to get there I took another route, leading my way past the music school - the building was a villa before, strange, who wants to live in that... luckily people are different, right?

I also passed by this beauty:

All in all:
297%, 31 165 steps, 22,2 km, 2401 calories burnt.

Ingo.
Something went wrong with the peripheral venous catheter on his right arm, also.
All inflamed, meds, meds, meds, cooling and cooling and a stay till at least Monday morno.
New patient, three in the room now, one 70+, the other 80+, chatting endlessly - I feel so sorry and I can´t understand how Ingo can take it, either.

Fingers crossed he can come home on Monday!
Off to hosp for more news.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about Ingo and the inflammation in his arm.. it's so frustrating when things like that happen in hospital. I've heard of so many cases where people go in for something and while there catch some sort of bug! I'm crossing my fingers then for him coming home on Monday and I think it's a really good idea for you to send the cat-scan to his brother, he should be made aware of how Ingo is doing, maybe, hopefully he might come up with some ideas! Hope the weather has a turn around and is nice for the weekend.

Oh, Grace, the German post is so darn slow - I payed extra at 09:30 am yesterday so it will be there "today". Aka am! Nope.
And now his Bro is on holiday.
Yes, you hear that way too often taht people catch up more than getting healed.
Weather today was good, but rainy tomorrow, at least 26C - so... maybe a lovely summer rain :-)

Revrunner, I think those aren´t edible. But I´ve tried some that were... not my thing.
DA, thank you, have a happy weekend, too. Well, we´ll see about Ingo...
