Skinless

Finally Ingo got himself a new PC and new monitors.
They´re a tad bigger than mine and he had to show me.

I said, cool screensaver, do it without the skin and I´m impressed ;-).

I came back to find this:

I was impressed :-)

Guess my next wish!

Btw, taking things off: Maybe you say, awww, I KNEW that!, to me it´s new:
You can eat the broccoli-stems! They´re yummy, and done in the pan, too! We always threw them away!!

(Yes, I admit, I had "fresh leftover-spaghtetti" as brekkie and didn´t care to clean the plate for lunch - so what, I´m still alive :-)...)

Note: Happy Birthday, Dad. You´d turn 80 today. Would´ve been some party. Cheers!

Hi Iris!
That is impressive, indeed!
And that meal looks delicious. We also eat the broccoli stems!
:)

Hi Paula,
oh, it was just a mouse-click, actually :-)
Oh, and I had to grow that old to learn about the stems!

I've always eaten the stems, a bit crunchy.
I like the "fish tank" monitor.
Your dad had his birthday the same day as my daughter. A big hug to you Iris xxx

I put the stems in first, then they´re not that crunchy.
Yes, another date I´ll never forget, happy Birthday to your daughter and thank you, Sami xxx

Your posts always make me happy Iris.. well not the posts when you are sad ☺ I have to confess we don't eat the broccoli stalks but we certainly try them now! Have you ever been to Perth when Sculpture by the Sea is on? You really should try for March next time!

Oh, am I sad that often, Grace?!
Yes, try the stalks, they are really yummy! Just make sure to fry them a tad longer.
Yep, 2015 we went - next time Ingo has his "Straya Day" and then again it´ll be Sculptures by the Sea once more :-)
