So Ingo came home yesterday with the words, "you´ve got mail!".
I hate that. Usually it´s the tax office or other unpleasant stuff.
Not yesterday!
It was a letter from dear Kathy!
And what did I find when I opened the beautiful envelope?
... envelope!
And what was in there?
This very cute kitty!
.. the Birthday-girl!
AKA... me! (Oh, I wish, Ingo hates cats).
Now you please don´t give me Birthday-wishes, see when Kathy made this beautiful card?
... made in 2021. Cause Kathy assumed rightfully snail mail has this name for a reason and my Birthday is in January.
Though Kathy did not calculate the darn precise posties here.
The address was not 100% correct, thinking is nothing they do at the post office here - they sent it back!
Can you believe it.
Switch on your brain, if you have one, and go look if there is somebody under this address without the first, American-sounding line.
Not that difficult these days, huh? Noooo, German post-men do not do this.

Sadly the tea-bag is in use multiple times these days still as it´s way too cold for June!

Good morning, I just now saw your post. what is really amazing about this mail-after two days that I had mailed it-it came back needing more postage-that's why I added scooby doo stamp. so you got this letter from here to Germany in less than 10 days-that is amazing.
I love the idea of celebrating in June-happy birthday again and happy weekend, we have friends coming down late sunday to go fishing for a few days and Hubs and I celebrate our 40th anniversary this sunday too
