Congratulations on Your New House

Congratulations on Your New House
Made this card for my husband biker member who is hosting a housewarming tomorrow.

CAS(E) This Sketch #204
I adopt the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch #204 as shown above. However, I flipped the sketch 180 degree so that it fit my image.

The house image is stamped onto a white card stock and colored using Copic markers. Then, the background is blended with inks; bottom with green to mimic the grass and upper with blue to mimic the sky. The panel is attached onto a green card base.
Close-up: The house
The sentiment is stamped onto a green strip (same color as the card base) and attached onto the house image as in sketch.

Close-up: The glossy window glasses
For finishing touch, I added some white pearls above the chimney mimicking smokes coming out from it. I also apply a layer of shimmer and a coat of glossy accent to the window glasses to make them shine and glass lookalike!

Congrats on Your New Apartment

Congrats on Your New Apartment
Made this card for my elder auntie's new apartment (actually old apartment since she bought a second hand apartment) but still worth to celebrate. She used to live in another state up north but recently she moved down to central state since most of our relatives are here.

CAS - Colours and Sketches - Challenge #37
I adopt the sketch from CAS - Colours and Sketches - Challenge #37 - Sketch as shown above. However, I flipped the sketch anti clockwise so that it fit my house/apartment.

Close-up : Modified house/apartment
I transform the house into a four level apartment by masking off the windows and door. The house/apartment parts are stamped into various pattern papers and card stock as I am paper piecing them. Later, those windows are stamped on white card stock and colored using Copic markers. After all the house/apartment parts has been trimmed accordingly, they are assembled. My auntie stay at the second floor. Thus, for the second floor windows, I purposely attach a different shape of the windows to make it standout in the house/apartment.

Close-up : Punched strip as grass
A strip of green card stock is trimmed and punched with a border design which will mimic the grass. It is attached onto a purple card base. The assemble house/apartment is then attached onto the punched border.

Close-up : Sentiment
On the left upper corner, the sentiment is stamped. A few dots are added behind the sentiment.

Close-up : Smoke 'hearts'
The card is finished off with some light pink heart pearls added above the chimney mimicking smoke coming out from it.

Congrats on Your New Apartment - Inside
Inside the card, another sentiment is stamped directly onto the card. A bird is stamped on a white card stock and colored with Copic markers. After the bird has been trimmed, it is attached to the right upper of the sentiment which makes the sentiment more personal!
Close-up : Sentiment and bird

Dimension : 10.16cm x 15.24cm or 4" x 6"
Type : Vertical fold
Inlay : None with stamped sentiment
