NJ Stamping Queen

The sketch at CAS Colours and Sketch #581 appealed to me along with Just Add Ink's focus of Things with Wings so I made 2 cards featuring Brushed paper (old Close to my Heart) and new butterflies from Simon Says Stamp (Whirl Butterflies in solid yellow pearlescent card stock) and Stampin' Up (Beautiful Butterflies cut from patterned paper and holographic layer).  I can't decide which I like better!

Here is a bright and cheery birthday card I made following Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #673 using old Close to my Heart Paper called Happy Times and a cute bird stamp set--source unknown.

This card came together very quickly following a great horizontal sketch by Paper Craft Crew Challenges.  The Ethereal Dreams paper from Craft Smith was available at Michael's a couple of years ago.  The sentiment is from Close to my Heart's "Everyday Magic"--a featured Stamp of the Month Set from January 2020.  Drops of Crystal Stickles were applied to the intersecting circles to enhance  the background paper.

Charming Duck Pond is a really fun stamp set by Stampin' Up with ducks facing in both directions.  They were used to create this fun birthday card following Freshly Made Sketch #724.  The background papers are very old Close to my Heart--Summer Cloud Blue and True Teal.  Stampin Up's Cloud Cover and Pretty Peacock inks were used.  The embellishment dots were made with Scrapbook.com's Ocean Waves Pearl Pops of Color.

The sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is very different than usual card sketches so I made time to play along.  Stampin Up's "Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper" contains beautiful floral scenes which I cut up to create my card. The sentiment is from Close to my Heart called "Sentiments by Melissa Esplin".

This fortnight's Sunday Stamps Sketch appealed to me so I found an old Close to my Heart paper pack called "Happy Times" and cut off the top branding strips to start my card.  The stamp is from a CTMH set called "A Million Reasons" and was stamped in Rosy ink.
