Storykeeper update

I didn't post last week (time just got away from me), so this is 2 Thursday's worth of stitching on Storykeeper.

Photobucket

I'll definitely be joining in this thursday, and will probably stitch on her through the weekend.

This past weekend on the HAED bb, there was a new start SAL, which I of course couldn't resist joining. I started Wall's Iris Keeper SK, stitched 1x1 on 28 count evenweave:

My HAED Stitching Status

Thanks for letting me join. It's so inspiring to see what everyone is doing!

I'm Kim(aka. disneyfan91 on the HAED BB). I found HAED in 2005, I believe, and the first chart I bought was Eternal Promise(Stewart--retired)--I have since purchased more charts than would be humanly possible to finish.

**all pics are clickable thumbnails**

My only finish is Magic Witch QS(Butcher):

Magic Witch(S Butcher) HAED 4/1/06-10/28/06

My current WIPs--in the order they get worked on are:

QS Swimming with Dolphins(Tate):

QS Swimming with Dolphins--17Sept08

I Love Thee(Seed):

I Love Thee--1Oct08

Storykeeper(Fenech):

Misty Weniera(Butler):

Misty Weniera 11Dec07

Eternal Promise(Stewart--retired):

Eternal Promise(Arwen and Aragorn)

TT "K"(Fenech):

I look forward to joining in although I probably won't be fully participating until April(I have a non-HAED project I'm trying to get done this month).

Introduction

Hi, everyone! Thanks to Cindy and Wendy for organizing this blog, and for sending the invite to join!
My name is Beth, I recently moved back to NJ. I've been stitching on and off for nearly 30 years, but picked it up again about 7 years ago. I found HAED 3 years ago, and was instantly hooked. Right now, I have 10 HAED WIPs. I have a few finishes (1 full size, a couple of QS, Storykeeps and Tiny Treasures).

My first full-sized HAED finish, Wicked Tricksy & False (artist: Jasmine Becket-Griffith):

Photobucket
Stitched 1x1 on 32 count off-white belfast linen. They took me just over 2 years to stitch.

I'm hoping to have my second full-size finish by the end of this year. Storykeeper (artist: Selena Fenech) was the first HAED chart i purchased. I've been working on her just over 3 years. Here's my progress as of this past week:

Photobucket
She's stitched 1x1 on 25 count off white evenweave.

How it´s going to look:

Storykeeper - Selina Fenech
How it´s going to look: Ow, and in case you where wondering, I LOVE Selina´s artwork! No wonder I´ve called my daughter Selina (because besides the beautifull paintings, I think ´Selina´ is a beautifull name!)!
