Pincushions & friends
Design by Lynn B of Happiness Is Cross Stitching blog
A freebie design by Lynn for her small accessories for the Peacock Box
but I made mine into a pincushion with the ramekin bowl.
Threads - OD by Needle Odyssey stitched on white evenweave
A blue butterfly pin which is removable.
This is belated birthday gift for Janet and it was such a pleasure to be able to meet her personally last Saturday for me to hand this over to her personally.
and Janet has something for me too, this tiny Origami Folded book which I was admiring on her FB only a couple of days ago plus a sweet ATC card hand made her .
Also, I joined the crowds at the Postie for the commemorative stamps and first day cover in conjunction with the the Royal couple's visit recently.
The Pincushion Exchange
Another great way to start Monday is when friends came by for lunch. Margaret W and Jackie came and brought me lovely things, including the pincushion exchange. Just look at her so called 'experimental' Bobbin pincushion ! ITS GORGEOUS !! experimental or not,
I couldn't be happier with this exchange and Margaret, I am so stealing this idea ! LOL
and fearing her work not professional enough, when she did a beautiful job, she added a fantastic wooded spool holder which I had been drooling for quite a while now.
and sitting below are past year issues of JCS Magazines of years 2000, 2001 & 2002 which Margaret managed to get hold for me during Aniza's de-stashing and spools of Valdani & Sulky threads from my 'tumpang-ing' order when she ordered from Anita . Thank you so much Margaret & Jackie for coming, its great to meet both of you again.
I have been receiving some packages since last week, including a package from Margaret today which had to be put away until next week before I can reveal. So do come back for a peek in the meanwhile, wishing you a good week ahead, appreciate your visits and thank you for your lovely comments.
