South Beach, Day 1
I ate more food today than I usually eat in two days, but it was all what I was supposed to have eaten, so I guess it's all good.
I woke up late, so breakfast was string cheese and a bit of jello. I'll need to be up early tomorrow to have a proper breakfast. My mid-morning snack didn't happen since breakfast was late. Lunch was a tomato, half a cucumber, a bowl of lettuce, grilled chicken breast, and cottage cheese... AKA a salad. It was oh-so tasty and very filling. My early afternoon snack was yogurt with pistachios. Dinner was grilled beef tips with red peppers and green beans with a side of tomato and cucumber. That was absolutely yummy! Throughout the day, I've had close to 70oz of water total. Good thing I love water!
The biggest challenge I'm facing is going out of town over Memorial Day weekend (the fabulous Amy will be joining me... yay!), which falls at the end of Phase I. I'll have to do some planning for the six-hour drive out, but I'm sure it'll be ok. Since we're staying with Mom, I'm not worried about eating the wrong foods once we're there.
27 going on 28
I'm sure most of you will puke or at leas gag after reading this, but who cares. If I weren't so giddy, I probably would, as well.
He asked me to be his girlfriend tonight. EEE!
He told me last night there was something he wanted to talk with me about but wanted wait until we were together in person. He reassured me it was good, but still, I didn't know what to think. It was so cute. He came over tonight, and while we were sitting on the sofa watching TV, he told me he wanted to talk. He said he knew that I wanted to take things slowly, but wanted to know if I would be his girlfriend. Together now, "Aww!" It sounds like such a Jr. High thing, but I can't help but smile and feel so giddy about it!
After I said yes, we proceeded to make out for the next hour or so. Good lord, that was the most fun I've had in ages!
