June CAS Stencil Challenge Reminder

Hi there ~
Today I’m sharing my reminder card for the CAS Stencil Challenge. Our theme is ‘Perfect Pearls/Pearl-Ex’ and our hostess is Linda!

For my card, I colored the rays with pencils, then stenciled with Versamark and yellow Perfect Pearls. After applying Perfect Pearls to the stencil, I colored the images with Copic markers and popped them up onto a stitched panel. I added a few red hearts and smothered the owls' noses with Glossy Accents, and this card was done and dusted!

I hope you’ll check out the Challenge Blog to see the beautiful reminder cards from our DT and Guest Designer, Chrissie ...We would love to see your take on the challenge!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

June CAS Stencil Challenge

Hi there ~
Today starts a new challenge at the CAS Stencil Challenge. Our hostess is Linda, and she has chosen the theme for the month of June. Chrissie Stokes was our winner for the April Challenge, and she is our Guest Designer!
For my card, I decided to go with Perfect Pearls on a Butterfly Stencil.

Using perfect pearls with stencils was a bit challenging for me. I watched the video tutorials listed on the Challenge Blog and consulted my teammate Robyn about using white cardstock. She recommended coloring the stencil first (I used colored pencils), then applying Versamark before adding perfect pearls...and it worked! Lastly, I added the sentiment and a few clear sequins, and this card was complete!

I hope you’ll check out the Challenge Blog ~ Linda has listed some great video tutorials for this technique...and of course, the DT girls have created beautiful cards to inspire everyone ~

Thanks so much for stopping by,

So many challenges...So little time!

Hi there...I hope you are all having a great week! I've been spending lots of time in my craft room this week creating cards for a few more challenges. First up is the CAS Watercolor May Challenge for the theme 'Flowers'

I love this W&W stamp set...it has so many beautiful flowers and leaves in it. I colored the blooms with Zig markers and embossed the sentiment with Liquid Platinum EP. Lastly, I added the sparkly gem, which I had in my stash forever :)

My next card is for this week's Muse Card Challenge
This week’s Muse is Tracey McNeely, who created this fabulous masculine card:

And, my card:

I loosely followed Tracey’s layout layering die cuts and adding the diagonal striped papers along the border. Since my chef and kitchen tools are predominantly white, I stenciled the brick wall with pale gray ink and used woodgrain paper to hang the tools.

My last card is for this week's challenge at Freshly Made Sketches designed by Jen T:

And, my card:

For the blue panel, I used the bracket banner from MFT Blueprints13, extending it on my Big Shot to make it longer. The lilies are also from MFT and the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stamps.
Well, that's it for me...I hope everyone is getting ready to have a fun and crafty weekend ~

Thanks so much for stopping by,
