Katzelkraft - Dreaming of Paris

Hi Everyone, I am back with my weekly Katzelkraft post. I am taking a little break with my language posts, because I wanted to play along with the current Dream Factory/Traumfabrik challenge - the theme is Paris. I started with brushing the background.  Added the Eiffel tower and Paris to my background. I stamped the elephant, bag and globe onto scrap paper, colored them in part with alcohol inks - the Elli I mostly just brushed (lazy, I know).  Cut them out and arranged them on my card. Added some white highlights. The Eiffel tower is from Carabelle Studio, although Katzelkraft has a beautiful one as well, see HERE . i just don't have it..... The stamp I used is from the following set: Watson the Elephant - KTZ267,  Funny Accessories - KTZ156,  (FRANCE) Watson the Elephant  - KTZ267,  Funny Accessories  - KTZ156,  (USA) Hope you liked this - I'll be back next Wednesday with more Katzelkraft inspiration.  Thanks for visiting! Happy St...

Funky Fossil - Explore the World

Hi Everyone, I am playing with the new release from Funky Fossil Designs. I used the set  Adventure  for this card.  I actually got two cards out of one in this case. I stamped the image onto black card stock and heat embossed it in white. I then cut along the lines and cut out the waterfall, which remained attached to the bottom panel. You can s ee the other card I made with it   HERE . Adventure  I attached the black part to a piece of rainbow paper and colored in the waterfall. Added water splatters and heat embossed them with sparkly embossing powder (looks pretty in real life). Lastly I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment. I love it when you get tow out of one! I sponged the background and stamped on it. Cut it out and added the black foreground on which I stamped with Versamark and heat embossed it. Guest Designing at Inkspirational and a reminder about STAMPlorations' blog hop!

I could not believe it when Marina from Inkspirational asked me if I wanted to be guest designer! I am still totally over the moon about it !!!! And of course I said yes. The theme for the next two weeks if FLIGHT Now there are many possibilities for that, but I choose to go with air travel.  I used an old stamp set from Recollections and combined it with my all time favorite Avery Elle set - To the Point. And then I was not sure if I liked the card enough, so I made a second card with rainbow colors.... I bent the triangle and mounted the plane on foam tape after I cut it out. So I hope you are as excited as I am to play with us for the next two weeks. Come on over to see all those beautiful card from the design team and get inspired! Thank you all at Inkspirational to give me this opportunity! And I'll see you at  Inkspirational ..... I am also linking BOTH cards with the current Avery Elle challenge - CAS --X-- ...

Addicted to CAS and OLS

Addicted to CAS ' theme this week is TRANSPORT - so I thought about air travel, since soon I'll go on my yearly trip to Germany.... I made myself a stencil for the clouds with punches and sponged them. The airplane is Recollections stamps, which I heat embossed in white. The sentiment is from the same set.  I drew a partial frame around it, since I thought it needed something to make it complete.  I am also adding this card to the One Layer simplicity challenge  - I 've Been Framed Hope you like it and thanks for visiting my blog today!
