Christmas Party

It has been ages since I made an easel card but i was inspired to do so by this months Christmas Cards all year round challenge (shaped cards or fancy folds).  This is a bit of a comedy card using a Bugaboo image which I got last week.  I will also enter the card into this weeks ABC Christmas challenge (vivid colours).

My first rocking card

I had never made a rocker card before yesterday but have admired them for a long time on other people's blogs and so thought I'd give it a go.  I will enter this into this weeks I love Promarkers (cute) and this months CCAYR (shaped) and Ready Teddy Go (not square) challenges.

Too purple?

Purple is my cousin's daughter's (who is 18 months old) favourite colours and so I thought I'd make her a purple Christmas card.  Do you think this is too purple??
I will enter the card into this months CCAYR challenge (shaped cards/fancy folds) and this weeks I love Promarkers (cute) and Willow Sketchie (festive sparkle and shine- lots of glitter on this card!) challenge.

Traditional/Non traditional

This months CCAYR challenge was either to use a traditional image with non traditional colours or vice versa.  I have been pondering on this for a long time now and I think I may have hit the answer today.  I don't think a dog ice skating is a 'traditional Christmas image' but I have teamed it with green and red colours- traditional: BINGO.
I will also enter this card into this weeks I love Promarkers (Christmas), Passion for Promarkers (pets), Willow Sketchie (sketch and theme- Christmas) and ABC Christmas (up to you) challenges.

P is for paper piecing

Woo Hoo!  I won last weeks ABC Christmas challenge!  I have gone straight off and bought 7 digis from Bugaboo (my prize).  Here's my first card with my winnings...
I will enter it into this weeks ABC Christmas (paper piecing) and  sweet sketch Wednesday (sketch) challenges and this months CCAYR (children's Christmas) challenge.

Cute Christmas

I made this card with the following challenges in mind- Willow Sketchie (1 charm, 2 papers, 3 gems), Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch), CCAYR (kids Christmas), DigiStamp Boutique (monthly customer competition), I love Promarkers (spot and stripes) and Digi Doodle Shops Best (ribbon and bows).

O is for 'open it out'

This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is to make a card and decorate the inside too.  I decided to make a card with an aperture, so that the 'inside' was the 'outside' too.  I have used a DigiStamp Boutique image that  I love.  I will also enter the card into this weeks Willow Sketchie (sketch) challenge and this months CCAYR (children's Christmas) challenge.

Not a card

This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is 'n is for not a card'. I have made two gift tags using this super freebie from Digistamp Boutique.  The image was printed multiple times, coloured with PMs and then spray with gold glitter varnish before decoupaging up.  The base card for the tags is actually the card board box Mum's birthday present came in.
I will also enter these into this months CCAYR (Christmas flowers/foliage) and this weeks I love Promarkers (sparkle), Willow Sketchie (Christmas in July) and DigiDoodle Shops Best (anything goes) challenges.

Christmas lights

This months CCAYR challenge is the theme twinkle, twinkle lights.  I have decided to go a bit CAS with this card using my new background stamps again from Clare.  Not really traditional Christmas colours, but hopefully it is a bit of a fun card- certainly fun to make at any rate!  I will also enter the card into this weeks ABC Christmas challenge (keep it simple).

J is for Jingle Bells

After buying (while I still had money!) the 20 digi bundle from Pollycraft yesterday morning I thought that I'd get to work today and use one of the images straight away.  It fits perfectly with this weeks ABC Christmas challenge (J is for Jingle Bells).  I have followed the sketch for this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  I will also enter the card into this weeks I Love Promarkers (anything goes), MAWTT (keep it real) and Willow Sketchie (3 different papers) challenges and this months CCAYR challenge (inspired by a song- Jingle bells).

White Christmas

Time for another Christmas card to build up the stash for Christmas...  This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is 'I is for icy Inspiration' and I have made this card with icy colours and snowflakes.  The image is a Pollycraft one I recently bought.  I will also enter the card into this months CCAYR (inspired by a song- white Christmas) challenge and this weeks Passion for Promarkers (brightly coloured image with pale papers) Willow Sketchie (diecuts- snowflakes) and Sweet Sketch Wednesday (sketch) challenges.

E is for Evergreen

This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is 'E is for Evergreen' and they wanted to see Christmas trees or holly etc.  I have used this Stampfairy image with a Christmas tree along with lots of green.  I will also enter the card into this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday (Sketch), Willow Sketchie (ribbon), CES (charmed), CCAYR (green) and I love Promarkers (ribbon and bows) challenges.

From Santa

Well I guess there is no time like the present to make a start on next years Christmas cards! This is one I made today (OK I have a lot of images printed out for Christmas and so am trying to use them up and so there may be a few more cards in the near future until they are used up) using a Stampfairy image. I will also enter this card into this weeks Willow Sketchie (sketch and red and green), this months CCAYR (anything goes) and the Passion for Promarkers mega challenges.

Z is for Zingy

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas yesterday. This is actually a card I made on Christmas Eve for the current ABC Christmas challenge- I guess it will be the start of my stash for 2012 Christmas cards! Thankyou so, soooo much to Lauren for sending me this super cute LOTV stamp for Christmas (I was naughty and opened the present early since it came in with the card and fell out). For a children's card I have teamed the image with bright coloured papers and will also enter the card into the Passion for Promarkers Mega challenge and this months CCAYR challenge (anything goes).

Red Robins and Chester

This started off being a card for this weeks Willow Sketchie challenge, but then not all the layers fitted right and so I decided just to go with what looked better rather than add the extra layers for the sake of it. A shame since I wanted to enter the challenge this week... Any way I have used Sweet Chester image from Pollycraft to make this card, teamed with Papermania Hugs and Honey papers from last year. The stitching is faux this time.
I will enter the card into this weeks Pollycraft (Christmas fun), Cute Card Thursday (anything goes) and ABC Christmas (Yippee its nearly Christmas- anything Christmass-y) challenges and this months CCAYR (anything goes) challenge.

Snowman George

Well, it has taken me a while to make a card for this weeks ABC Christmas challenge (X is for xerox), but I knew I had to do it this weekend. I have completed all the other challenges this year and so couldn't let one go so close to the end of the year. The idea behind the challenge is to 'xerox' one of the DT cards from a previous challenge. Here I have 'xeroxed' Lacey's tag from the P is for Photo inspiration challenge (I have used a George the snowman Stampfairy image (specially bought for the challenge in the fab 50% off sale to celebrate Stampfairy's birthday!) and taken the green, red and white colour scheme along with the cord across the bottom).
For my card I have followed the sketch of this weeks Stampfairy challenge (which had the extra twist of finishing off the inside of the card, which I have done). I will also enter the card into this weeks Willow Sketchie (anything goes) and I love Promarkers (snowmen and snowflakes- both on the image) and this months CCAYR (anything goes) and Pollycraft (Christmas fun) challenges.

Sparkly Pengiun

Well, better late than never. Last Saturday, Rosie set the challenge on CMLI to make a card inspired by a very fun Christmas poem and with the colours blue and white. I made this card very slowly during the week. The papers I have used are from the PP big spot collection I recently downloaded and the image is a Meljen's Designs image that I won the other week on the Cute Card Thursday challenge.
I will enter this card into this weeks Passion for Promarkers (sketch), Digidoodle Shops Best (sparkle) and Willow Sketchie (anything goes) challenges and this months CCAYR (anything goes) and Pollycraft (Christmas fun) challenges.

Grey and green

This weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge is the colour combo grey and green which is a little different and so I thought I'd give it a go. This is quite a small card. The sentiment is from Digi doodle shop and the image from Pink petticoat. I have followed the sketch from this months CCAYR challenge (my 5th card of the month and there are 10 more days left!). I will also enter the card into this weeks I love Promarkers challenge (Christmas trees).

Red and Green Santa

This weeks Digi Doodle Shops Best challenge is the colour combo red and green. I wanted to use my PP big spotty papers again and so this time I have printed out the crimson ones. The sentiment is from the PP download and the image is a Santa Chimney from Stampfairy.
I will enter this card into this weeks Stampfairy challenge (glitter) and this months CCAYR challenge (sketch).

Dotty Christmas

I have been eyeing up these Pink Petticoat papers since they were released and decided to give in and buy them on Sunday. I think I probably have enough cards for this Christmas, but after writing a list of who to send cards to (and it was much longer than I expected!) I thought that a few 'flatter' cards which would be a little cheaper to post were needed else I'd spend a fortune on postage stamps! Having said that, I couldn't resist mounting the penguin pictures on foam pads like normal- when will I learn!
I will enter the cards into this months CCAYR (sketch) and this weeks ABC Christmas (winter sports- the middle card perhaps doesn't count but the other two do!) challenges.
