I bought this Kiki image from Pollycraft the other day and this is its first outing.  Isn't it adorable?   I will enter the card into this weeks CES (anything goes) and Willow Sketchie (handmade flowers) challenges and this months Ready Teddy Go (bingo- flower, ribbon, embossing) challenge.  Its a sad farewell this week to the CES challenge blog, after Emma has decided to close her store.  I have really enjoyed joining in their challenges over the last year and a bit and of course have frequented the store a number of times.  It is sad to see it close, but everyone has to move on to pastures new at some point I guess, and of course Emma has her hands full mow with little Olivia so it is totally understandable.  Big thankyou to the CES DT.

This weeks MAWTT challenge is the theme 'nautical'.  I have had this digi stamp for a while and not used it and so thought I'd make a card with it.  I have also embossed one of the layers with sailing boats (might be a little difficult to see though).  I will also enter the card into this weeks CES (anything goes) and Willow Sketchie (sketch) challenges.

I made a card last week for the ABC Christmas I is for Icy Inspiration challenge, but I have to admit, when I made it I hadn't looked at the inspirational photos.  Hence I thought I'd make another card, this time taking both the colours and the subject (penguins) from the photos.  I have followed the sketch from this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge and will also enter the card into this weeks CES (anything goes) and Cute Card Thursday (food or drink) challenges.

Spring sunshine is certainly something we have not had much of this year.  It was sunny here today, but cold. I hope this sunny card makes up for it...

I've not used this stamp much, but thought I'd get him out this weekend.  Coloured in blue instead of a more conventional green for a dragon- does it work??

Well in the Uk we have certainly had a lot of April showers this year, haven't we?!  I think there are more due this week too.  This is a Pollycraft image that I bought yesterday after having admired it for ages on the DT cards.

Yesterday, Lauren set the CMLI sketchie and the theme was 'just because'.  Paula from Pollycraft also released 12 new digis yesterday and there is currently a special offer on all Pollycraft images on.  I made good use of the special offer and went and got this super image.

Yesterday on CMLI Rosie set the weekly themed challenge of 'sun shine' moments.  We certainly needed to be reminded this weekend of what the sun looks like since it has rained pretty much constantly here (today at least)!  We NEED the rain though and so I'm not complaining.  I made this card for the challenge using the sketch from this weeks Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge.  I'm not sure the photo quite does the card justice as some of the papers are glittered and I have made the middle section into a window for Tilda to sit on.  I will also enter the card into this weeks CES challenge (pearls and swirls).

This weeks ABC Christmas challenge is the colour combo, gold, white and a touch of green for the letter 'G'. I will also enter this card into this weeks CES (swirls and pearls) and Ready-Teddy-Go (sketch) challenges.

My friend's partner is running the Paris Marathon in April in aid of Research into Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and so I wanted to make him a good luck card.  If you are able to do so, it would be great if you could donate towards the cause.  Little is known about the causes or how to best treat Chronic Fatigue and yet it continues to blight the lives of many people, including my friend's brother.  Go here to read more and donate. This weeks CMLI sketchie was set by Kathy and the theme was to make a masculine card.  I had this Pollycraft Chester image in my pile waiting to be coloured in and used- I do have a big soft spot for Chester!  I will also enter the card into this weeks Pollycraft Monday (chocolate), CES (no girls), Willow Sketchie (emboss) and Di's Digi Download (emboss) challenges.

This weeks CMLI challenge was set by Rosie and it was a sketch with the theme of 'standing under'.  It is coming up to the right time of year for this image (or at least I hope spring and April showers are not too far off, although it has become like winter again now here) and so I wanted to use it.
