Mojo'en sitter utrolig langt inne om dagen, særlig til guttekort som jeg vanligvis er veldig fortrolig med. Og nå måtte jeg snekre et kort til min svoger som fylte år på selveste Halloween. De feiret ikke på dagen, så jeg fikk heldigvis litt ekstra tid på meg, men som president i prokrastineringsklubben hjalp det ikke så mye. Det ble fortsatt et kjapt og enkelt kort i siste liten.
*The mojo is far away these days, especially for masculine cards that I'm usually very comfortable with. And now I had to whip up a card for my brother-in-law who had his birthday on Halloween. They didn't celebrate on that day so I fortunately got some extra time, but as president of the procrastination club it didn't help a lot. It was still a quick and easy card made at the last minute.*

Så sent, faktisk, at jeg glemte å ta bilde før jeg dro i selskap. Så her er et mobilbilde tatt i all hast. Jeg har brukt et av mine favoritt chevron ark fra Fancy Pants, sammen med helt enkel kraft og blå Bazzill. Tanken var at pakken skulle pakkes inn i blått papir, men det fant jeg selvfølgelig ikke, så da ble det svart i stedet. Teksten fra Norsk Stempelblad er embosset i hvitt på kraft kartong. Og pynten er ikke annet enn noen stilige trestjerner fra Studio Calico. Enkelt og greit!

*So late acutally that I forgot to take a picture before I left for the party. So here's a mobile phone pic taken in a hurry. I've used one of my favorite chevron papers from Fancy Pants with simple kraft and blue Bazzill cardstock. The idea was to wrap the present in blue paper, but of course I couldn't find the blue wrapping paper, so I went for black instead. The sentiment from Norsk Stempelblad is embossed in white on kraft cardstock. And the decor is nothing else than some cool wooden stars from Studio Calico. Nice and easy!

Det er vanvittig travle dager her for tiden, men innimellom rekker jeg å kose meg litt. Her er et kort jeg laget for Team Scrapping på scrapping.no. Hele artikken kan du lese her.

Skolestart er det siste jeg prøver å tenke på her jeg sitter på ferie og slikker sol som om jeg aldri hadde sett sola før (og det har jeg nesten ikke denne sommeren!). Men det er unektelig ikke lenge igjen og det er også temaet for utfordringen hos My Besties denne gangen.
*Back to school is the last thing I'm trying to think of here I am at vacation, sunbathing like I'd never seen the sun before (and I barely have this summer!). But it's undeniable not before long and that's the theme for the challenge at My Besties this time.*

Siden jeg er på ferie prøvde jeg å gjøre prosjektet mitt ferdig før jeg dro. Det endte med et fargelagt motiv og andre deler i en kasse med andre scrappeting som ble med på tur. Jeg hadde jo tid på kveldene til å mekke kort... trodde jeg... og vanligvis ville jeg nok hatt det, men denne turen har vært alt annet enn problemfri hittil, så da ble det noe helt annet enn jeg hadde planlagt. Jeg har rett og slett limt motivet Img878 på en liten notisbok fra Clas Ohlsson og komplettert med bokstavstickers fra Panduro. Enkelt, søtt og snuppa mi var så fornøyd at hun forsvant med boka før jeg hadde rukket å ta bilder! *lol*

Uansett, hvor du enn er og hva du enn gjør ønsker jeg deg en fantastisk flott sommerdag! Og når dagen er over håper jeg du setter deg ned og lager et prosjekt til utfordringen vår.
*Since I'm on vacation I tried to finish my project before I left. It resulted in a colored image and other bits and pieces in a box with other craft stash that came along on the trip. I had time in the evenings to make cards... I thought... and normally I propably would, but this trip has been far from problem free so far, so I ended up with something completely different than what I had planned. I simply adhered the image Img878 to a little notebook from ClasOhlsson and completed with alpha stickers from Panduro. Simple, cute and my daughter was so pleased that she left with the book before I could take pics of it! *lol*
Anyways, wherever you are and whatever you're doing I wish you a fantastic summer day! And when the day is over I hope you'll sit down and make a project for our challenge.*

Når småttisene skal i bursdagsselskap er det greit å ha et lite lager av enkle, fiks ferdige kort, så jeg har laget opp noen slike guttekort med kule produkter fra Fancy Pants. Jeg har også skrevet en artikkel om det for scrapping.no, som kan leses her.
*When the little ones are going to birthday parties it's nice to have a little storage of simple, ready made cards, so I made up a few of these little boy's cards with cool products from Fancy Pants. I've also written an article about it for scrapping.no that can be read  here.*

Nok en gang har jeg kost meg med herlige produkter fra Papirdesign og Kort og Godt, som jeg har skrevet en arktikkel om for scrapping.no. Hele artikkelen med flere bilder, kan leses her.

Ingenting sier vel vår som konfirmasjonstid og herlig blomsterprakt! Og det er jeg tydeligvis ikke alene om å mene. Jeg liker ikke å lifte meg selv, men etter at jeg hadde laget dette kortet fikk jeg ikke mindre enn TO bestillinger på et tilsvarende kort. Og jeg kan jo ikke si nei til potensielle kunder, så da var det bare å sette i gang. Det vil si, det var ikke bare bare!
*Nothing says spring like confirmation time and lovely florals! And I'm apparently not alone in thinking that. I don't like to lift myself, but after I made this card I got no less than TWO commisions on similar cards. And I can't say no to potential customers so I just had to get to it. That is, it wasn't all that easy!*

Arket jeg har brukt er nemlig fra Linda Design (tidligere Ladybug and friends) og er nærmest umulige å oppdrive. Jeg hadde kjøpt de første arkene på Scrapp Med Hjertet-treffet i mars, så når jeg var i Tromsø for et par uker siden, stakk jeg innom for å kjøpe flere. Det falt meg ikke inn at de kunne være utsolgt! Heldigvis var de ikke det, men jeg måtte endevende hver eneste papirhylle TRE ganger før jeg fant og rev med meg de seks siste arkene de hadde igjen, så da kunne jeg gå i gang med å lifte meg selv.
*The paper I've used is from Linda Design (previously Ladybug and Friends) and is almost impossible to find. I bought the first papers at the Scrapp med Hjertet crop last March, so when I was in Tromsø a few weeks ago I stopped by to buy more. It never occurred to me that they might be sold out! Fortunately they weren't but I had to turn upside down every single paper shelf THREE times before I found and snagged the last six papers they had left, and then I could get to lifting myself.*
Jeg liker ikke å kopiere meg selv fullstendig, så noe måtte bli annerledes. Stort sett det samme, men litt ulikt likevel. Blant annet er det mindre perler på dette enn det første. Og litt annet oppsett på blomstene.
*I don't like to copy myself completely, so something had to be different. Pretty much the same, but a little different still. There's less pearls on this than the first one. And a little different arranging of the flowers.*


Om forsiden ble veldig lik originalen, er innsidene desto mer ulik. I stedet for å bruke det samme arket med 6x6 thumbs, har jeg her brukt et 12x12 ark fra samme kolleksjonen. Jeg tror det heter "Idas vår".
*If the front is very similar to the original, the insides are more different. Instead of using the same paper with 6x6 thumbs I've used a 12x12 paper from the same collection. I believe it's called "Idas vår".*


Rammen er en del av arket og inni har jeg stemplet et enkelt stempel som jeg mener er fra gamle Papirloftet. Jeg savner virkelig den butikken! :-(
*The frame is part of the paper and inside I've stamped a simple stamp that I think is from the old Papirloftet. I really miss that store! :-( *


På baksiden har jeg brukt en mindre sirkel fra Spellbinders Stately Circles settet, som er brukt på forsiden. Og nå begynner det å bli en selvfølge med mitt personlige stempel fra Rox Stamps, kombinert med en liten tekst fra Kort og Godt.
*In the back I've used a smaller circle die from the Spellbinders Stately Circes set that I used in the front. And by now it's quite usual with my personal stamp from Rox Stamps combined with a little sentiment from Kort og Godt.*

Another Thursday, another Charisma challenge. And this fourtnight we want to see flowers.

I made this card earlier and it was apparently a big success among my customers, because this sold really fast followed by TWO commisions for similar cards. So I just had to go out hunting for the same papers to make it happen. Now I don't normally lift myself, at least not to this degree, but how can you say no to pleading customers? *lol*
Like I said, I had to hunt for the papers I used on the previous card. It's from Linda Design, previously known as Ladybug and Friends, but it's really hard to get. Finally I found it in the store where I bought the first ones, after rummaging through all the paper shelves three times, and I snagged the last six papers that were left.
I couldn't and wouldn't do the embellishments the same way as on the other card, but it's not far from it. A seambinding bow, blue and purple flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and a few pearls. The sentiment is the quote from J. W. Goethe about magic, and it's a stamp from Stempelglede.

The biggest difference from the last card are the insides. On the top page I've used the same paper as on the other one, but at the bottom I used another paper from the same collection in 12x12, instead of the 6x6 papers.

I die cut a circle from Spellbinders Stately Circles set and stamped a sentiment from Kort og Godt.

The backside is the same paper as the inside and the same die cut, stamped with my personal Rox Stamp and a little sentiment from Kort og Godt.

Jeg slet litt med å komme i gang med dette kortet og endte opp med mitt "go-to" oppsett når jeg ikke har andre ideer. Ganske nylig lagde jeg et konfirmasjonskort til jente med samme oppsett og jeg har sikkert laget flere uten at jeg kommer på noen spesielle akkurat nå.
*I struggled a bit getting started on this card and ended with my "go-to" layout when I don't have any other ideas. I made a confirmation card for a girl with the same layout recently and I've propably made more without remembering any particular right now.*





And the backside with my personal stamp from Rox Stams that I just grow more and more fond of. It's really brilliant to be able to stamp a completely different stamp in the middle!*

Nok en uke har flydd forbi uten at jeg har fått lagt ut noe her. Ikke fordi jeg ikke har laget noe, for jeg har vært superproduktiv, det er bare ikke noe som kan vises frem riktig enda. Men i dag fikk jeg endelig gjort et lite prosjekt som jeg kan dele. Et konfirmasjonskort, selvfølgelig.
*Another week has flown by without me updating here. Not because I haven't made anything, cuz I've been super productive, it's just nothing that can be published just yet. But today I finally got to make a little project to share. A confirmation card, of course.*

I min jakt på noen helt andre ark, snublet jeg over dette nydelige arket fra Studiolight. Og når jeg ser sånt klarer jeg jo ikke å stæsje på en masse greier, så det ble en enkel tekst fra Papirdesign, stanset ut med Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles, svertet med Distress Ink Antique Linen og noen blomster fra Wild Orchid Crafts.
*In my hunt for some completely different papers I stumbled upon this gorgeous paper from Studiolight. And when I see theese kind of papers I just can't stuff on a bunch of bellies, so I did a simple text from Papirdesign, die cut with Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles, inked with Distress Ink Antique Linen and a few flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.*

Innsidene er enda enklere og arkene får virkelig spille hovedrollen.
*The insides are even simpler and the papers get to play the lead.*

På den øverste siden inni har jeg stanset ut en tekst fra Staz med samme die som forsiden. Panelet er bare limt på tre sider, på den måten kan man stikke inn en seddel eller to om man ønsker. Og hvis ikke er det ingen som aner noe likevel. *ler*
*On the top page inside I've die cut a sentiment from Staz with the same die as in front. The panel is only glued on three sides that way one could put in a bill or two if one wishes. And if not nobody will know the difference anyway. *lol*

Jeg har ikke lagt inn noe skrivefelt. Arket er så diskret at det går helt fint å skrive rett på arket.
*I haven't put in any particular space for a personal greeting. The paper is so discreet that it works just fine to write directely on the paper.*

Mitt personlige stempel fra Rox stamps har blitt godt brukt i det siste. Det er så genialt med den åpne plassen i midten hvor man kan plassere nesten hva man vil. Her har jeg brukt et lite tekststempel fra Kort og Godt.
*My personal stamp from Rox stamps have been put to good use lately. It's brilliant with the open space in the centre where you can put in almost whatever you want. Here I've stamped a little sentiment from Kort og Godt that reads "May all your dreams come true".*

I love both purple and blue almost equally yet I've never thought about using them both at the same time, but that's what I did for today and I made another confirmation card.


I got the papers for this card at the Scrapp med hjertet crop a couple of weeks ago, but it had no product line so I'm not sure where it's from. It's gorgeous anyway! I die cut the sentiment with Spellbinders Stately Circles and decorated with all kinds of flowers and pearls in blue and purple. A couple of the roses got a little spritz of Glimmer Mist Moonlight, since I somehow didn't own a lot of blue flowers that matched the color scheme. A little seambinding bow, a pearl spray and a few butterflies from an MS punch makes the rest of it. Nice and easy, right? *lol* With the decorative paper I don't think it's neccesary with a lot of other stash.

Junior er invitert i barneselskap igjen. Denne gangen hadde jeg litt bedre tid på meg enn sist, så da kunne jeg leke meg litt mer.
*Junior is invited to another birthday party. This time I had a little bit more time than the last time so I could play around a little more.*

Jeg har brukt ark fra Graphic45 på Vanilla Bazzill base. Ballongene er stempel fra Papertrey Ink settet Balloon Bash, stemplet med Hero Arts Shadow Inks Soft Stone, klippet ut for hånd og festet en snor av Bakers Divine Twine til dem. Chipboard tallet fra lageret mitt har jeg trykket i embossing ink og embosset med hvitt embossingpulver fra Inkido. Bokstavene er fra Panduro og stjernene fra Cosmo Cricket.
*I've used papers from Graphic45 on Vanilla Bazzill base. The balloons are stamps from the Papertrey Ink stamp set Balloon Bash, stamped in Hero Arts Shadow Inks Soft Stone, hand cut and attatched a string of Bakers Divine Twine. Det har vært et par tøffe uker med et brått, men ikke uventet dødsfall i nær familie. Selv om jeg har hatt litt scrappeabstinenser de siste dagene, merket jeg likevel at mojo'en satt litt langt inne når jeg endelig fikk muligheten til å sitte litt på lekerommet i dag. Da var det greit å varme litt opp med å gjøre ferdig et prosjekt jeg har hatt liggende ganske lenge.
*It's been a rough couple of weeks with a sudden, but not unexpected death in near family. Even though I've had a little scrapping withdrawal the last few days I still noticed that the mojo wasn't all there when I finally got the chance to sit in my playroom today. So a little warm up with finishing a project I've had around for quite some time now was just fine.*

Jeg har laget min egen variant av et Sjokoklem-kort. Dekoren er nok sterkt inspirert av sjokoladekortene jeg lagde før jul. Et enkelt tekststempel fra North Star Stamps, stanset ut med Spellbinders Labels Fourteen og noen snøfnugg fra en MS punch. Snøfnuggene har jeg satt Stickles Frosted Lace på, og rundt teksten har jeg brukt Liquid Pearls Platinum og et par Storyteller perler i hjørnene.
*I've made my own version of a "Chocolate hug card" (the chocolate bisquits inside are called "Chocolate Hug".) The decor is strongly influenced by the chocolate cards I made before christmas. A simple sentiment stamp from North Star Stamps, die cut with Spellbinders Labels Fourteen and a couple of snowflakes from an MS punch. The snowflakes are covered with Stickles Frosted Lace and around the sentiment I've used Liquid Pearls Platinum and a couple of Storyteller pearls in the corners.*

Innsiden er like enkel. Jeg syns Maja arkene er så lekre i seg selv, så jeg følte ikke behov for å dekke dem til med mer pynt. "Vinduene" til kjeksene er stanset ut med Spellbinders sirkel og scallop sirkel dies og pyntet med Liquid Pearls. Plass til å skrive en hilsen må man ha og jeg har brukt Labels Fourteen her også.
*The inside is just as simple. I think the Maja papers are so gorgeous in them selves so I didn't feel the need to cover them up with more embellishments. The "windows" for the bisquits are die cut with Spellbinders circle and scalloped circle dies and decorated with Liquid Pearls. There has to be room for a personal greeting and I've used Labels Fourteen here too.*

Kjeksene ligger i en skuff som kan skyves ut for å få tak i godsakene. Forhåpentligvis vil det falle i smak hos en mottaker etterhvert. :)
*The biscuits are in a drawer that pulls out to get the goodies. Hopefully this will be tasteful for some recipient at some point. :) *

Vi gjør ikke noe stort nummer ut av valentindagen her i huset, likevel er det litt gøy å lage slike kort, særlig med sånne søte motiver, som Cupid Bubbles fra Phindy's Place, selvfølgelig fargelagt med ProMarkers.

Here's a little crafty love from me today.
I love to work with sketches and when I saw the last one at Papertake Weekly I knew I had to make something with that sketch. And with all the love bugs flying around the challenge blogs these days, I did a Valentines card.

This adorable image is from artbymiran called With a little love, as always colored in with my ProMarkers. I even colored the pearls with ProMarkers. Since I didn't find any pearls with the right color I used the darker one from the dress on some white pearls.
I'm back in my favorite stack of Maja Design papers and used both Vintage Spring and Summer collections on this one. The panels are all inked and distressed with Distress Ink Vintage Photo and I brought out my sewing machine for some stitching around the edge and on the banner.
The chipboard heart from Melissa Frances is one of my favorite embellishments, only they shed so much glitter it's not even funny! So I decided to do something about it and covered it in Glossy Accent.


It's not that easy to see in the pictures, but I dotted the heart with Liquid Pearls Platinum, and a gold gel pen. I also used the gold gel pen on her armring and the wand. The wings and hearts got some Stickles Diamond on them. The edge stamping are stamps from Kort og Godt, stamped in Distress Ink Vintage Photo.
The big flower is from my stash and so old I can't even remember where I got it. It's one of those things I never find a use for. All the other flowers and the seambinding ribbon in the back, are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Etterhvert som bunken med sjokoladekort ble større, ble også bunken med juleark tilsvarende mindre, og jeg måtte virkelig jakte i arkbunkene mine etter juleark som gikk an å bruke. Dette arket dukket opp nederst i en bunke.
*As the pile of chocolate cards got bigger the pile of christmas papers got smaller and I really had to hunt my paper piles to find christmas papers that were usable. This paper turned up in the bottom of a pile.*

Nå syns jeg kanskje ikke at gulbrunt er en tradisjonell julefarge, men sammen med Bazzill Raw Silk i fargen Crimson, som virkelig er en julerød farge, ble det ikke så aller verst likevel. Igjen har jeg brukt tekststempel fra Norsk Stempelblad og Himalayan Snowflake fra Martha Stewart punchen.
*I don't think brown-orange is a traditional christmas color, but with Bazzill Raw Silk in the color Crimson, wich is a proper christmas red color, it didn't turn out so bad after all. Again I've used a sentiment from Norsk Stempelblad and the Himalayan Snowflake punch from Martha Stewart.*
Inni har jeg (som vanlig) brukt MS Cherish punchen på lommekanten og baksiden av arket, bare for å bryte opp litt.
*Inside I've used the MS Cherish punch (as usual) on the pocket edge, and the back of the paper just to break it up a bit.*

For en stund siden laget jeg et kort til et par tvillinggutter, i dag skal guttene døpes og måtte få et kort på dagen. Det var ikke så enkelt å komme på ideer til dette kortet. Med fire gutter under fire år har denne familien allerede fått hauger av kort fra meg, dermed følte jeg at jeg hadde brukt mesteparten av reportoaret mitt. Det har naturlig nok blitt mye blått, så derfor fant jeg ut at grønt kunne passe like godt til guttene.
*A while ago I made a card for twin boys, today the boys are christened and had to get a card on their day. It wasn't that easy to come up with ideas for this card. With four boys under four years this family has already got heaps of cards from me, so I felt that I had spent most of my repertoire. Naturally it's been a lot of blues, so I thought that green would be just as fitting for the boys.*

Jeg klarte ikke å holde meg unna Maja-arkene denne gangen heller. Disse er fra Vintage Spring og Vintage Summer Basics kolleksjonene. Alle kanter er svertet med Fluid Chalk Creamy Brown og ytterkanten er svertet med Distress Ink Walnut Stain i tillegg. Ytterkantene er også stemplet med et splash stempel fra The Greeting Farm og sydd med maskinsøm. Bannerne er stanset ut med en die fra Papertrey Ink og sydd med sikksakk maskinsøm. Stempelet er fra Norsk Stempelblad, stemplet med Memento Rich Cocoa på kraft kartong. Seambindingen og blomstene er fra Wild Orchid Crafts og har fått et snev av sverte på seg. I sløyfa har jeg festet en knapp fra svigermors lager med hyssing fra Waltzingmouse Stamps og to hjertecharms fra lageret mitt. I blomsteroppsatsen har jeg også brukt pyntebær fra Kort og Godt. Bladene er stanset ut med EK Rock Fern punch i et av Maja arkene. Til lykke med dåpsdagen!
*I couldn't stay away from the Maja papers this time either. These are from the Vintage Spring and Vintage Summer collections. All edges are inked with Fluid Chalk Creamy Brown and the outer edge is also inked with Distress Ink Walnut Stain. The outer edges are also stamped with a splash stamp from The Greeting Farm and sewn with machine. The banners are die cut with a die from Papertrey Ink and sewn with zig zag machine seam. The sentiment stamp is from Norsk Stempelblad, stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa on kraft cardstock. The seambinding and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and has got a touch of ink on them. In the bow I attached a button from my mother-in-law's stash with twine from Waltzingmouse Stamps and two heart charms from my own stash. In the flower arrangement I've also used berry stamens from Kort og Godt. The leaves are punched out with EK Rock Fern punch from one of the Maja papers. Happy christening day!*
