New Challenge at Outlawz

Well it's been quite a while since I blogged anything. Life went totally crazy last year. I'm hoping to find some more me time to create this year AND blog them.

So this is my first post for the new year with a new challenge at Outlawz, The Outlawz Christmas Challenge can be found here.

I've joined the Christmas challenge so I have plenty of Christmas cards made by the end of the year! Fingers crossed, I definitely didn't have enough this year.

This is my first inspiration for the new challenge, using a very old Stamping Bella Stamp I've had in my collection for over 10 years, called I believe in Santa. I don't think you can get it any more.

I've coloured the image with Copics and matter it onto some design paper from Hobbycraft. A very clean simple design to break me back into creating again haha.....

Ho ho ho

It's our Facebook new challenge day over at SheepSki Designs in the Facebook Group. Today I'm using Season's Greetings for my inspiration. You can find the image here where you can get 10% off all images by quoting SKIANDREA10 at checkout.

We're an anything goes challenge using one of our images, but we have optional twists if you'd like to join in the theme :)

I've coloured the image with Copics, creating a single layer card.

All I've added is some embossing enamel for snow :) one of my favourites at the moment is a night scene with snow.

Santa

Our November challenge starts at All Dressed Up today in the Facebook Group. Our these for this month is FEELING CHRISTMASSY!

I've chosen to use an Santa for my creation this time. He's been coloured with Copics.

To make the background I've used my Copic cleaner a sponge and my blender pen.

No embellishments for this card just a single layer colouring.

Don't forget as well as having the Facebook group we also have a blog challenge.

CRAFT Challenge 536

I'm honoured to be a Guest Designer at CRAFT this week. The challenge theme is Make Your Own Embellishment! The sponsors for this week are QKR Stampede and Colour of Love.

I had a few QKR images in my stash so decided to use Bringing a Tree which you can find here. The image has been coloured with Copics and the edges distressed with Vintage Photo ink. Behind the image are deep red and Kraft card to frame it.

I must admit to being terrified by the challenge, I've never made my own embellishments before. I thought I'd try my hand a my own banner. Digging around in my Christmas design paper stash I fished out a few with similar tones. I cut triangles and folder them over gluing them to some string - YAY!! It worked :D

I just finished the card off with a Christmas sentiment from Make It Crafty coloured with Copic.

Break Time

I'm sharing my latest creation using Taking a Break today which I created for the new challenge in the SheepSki Designs Facebook Group. The challenge runs from 20 December to 19 January and the optional twist this time is anything SheepSki (Anything Goes in other words!).

I've coloured the image with Copics, framed it with some black and red card and added a woodchip sentiment from Make It Crafty which I also coloured with Copics.
