Saturday's Critters # 507

Welcome to Saturday's Critters!

Hello and happy Saturday!

Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

September already and I am still sharing photos of the birds and critters seen in Ireland. Leaving Dingle, we drove along the Dingle Peninsula, Ring of Kerry and were heading to our next place to stay in Killarney.

1.  May 13th Another stop was for lunch, we stopped in Portmagee, hubby and I had a nice lunch in the Skellig Seafront Cafe. We walked around the coastal town being followed by a cute kitty, it is a nice village with pretty views. You can catch a boat tour here to the Skellig Islands which is a UNESCO Heritage site.

While we were walking along the harbor I noticed the Rook's nest , a group collecting in the tree top is called a rookery.

I watched these two Black Guillemot or are they called Common Murre floating in the Portmagee harbor.

Thanks to YAM and Margaret for the Black Guillemot confirmation.

A walk among the sheep, is someone on the wrong side of the fence?

Our driver/guide made an extra stop at the Kerry Cliffs, it is similar to the Cliffs of Moher with gorgeous scenic views.  It was hard deciding which way to walk on the cliffs, to the right or left.  I went left and hubby went to the right.

Next to our parking area we enjoyed these cute critters.  These two donkeys looked like they were hugging each other, very cute.

I love the cute alpacas, there were three different colored alpacas standing close together.

The Killarney National Park  was the last stop for the day before heading to our lodging for the next two nights in Killarney.

I believe this is a Grey Wagtail, we saw this bird near the Torc Waterfall in the Killarney National Park.

I hope you enjoyed these photos from Ireland. Thank you for sharing your critters and post!

I still have days of Ireland trip photos , lots of birds and critters to share.

1. May 12th, Dingle Peninsula, Top row are the Pied Wagtail, Blue Tit, European Shag, Northern Gannet. Bottom row: Northern Fulmar, Eurasian Magpie perched on a sheep, Hooded Crow and a Grey Heron.

2.   The Northern Gannet is seen off the Dingle coastline. We were at Slea Head Drive when this Gannet flew by.

3.  These rocks were a nice spot for the European Shag to hang out.

4.    I get easily distracted by birds, especially when this European Magpie that landed on this sheep.

5.   Dingle farm animals are the goat, sheep, donkey, hog, sheep dog, lamb, cow, sheep with lambs, cows and horses.

6.    One girl from our tour group went on a horse trail ride up in the mountains. We dropped off the rider at the horse farm for her trail ride. They were pretty horses, many saddled up and ready for a ride.

7.  I thought these horses were beautiful, they were very big. These Irish horses are called Galineers Cob (thanks to YAM) or Gypsy Vanners.

8.    Back in Dingle, I found a Grey Heron by the marina.

"Take only memories."

Slea Head Drive and a view of Dunmore Head. It is the western most point in Ireland. The ocean was mostly calm on this day, not many waves to be seen.
