Day-n

Woke up early this morning. But as usual I always miss the timing for jama'ah. At least nowadays I find myself doing different things from last month. "If you do the same thing every time and expect a different result, that is crazy"-well, something along that line yeah, quoted from...Albert Einstein? Tolong betulkan ye kalau salah~ =P Well, I am going to hit the gym later before heading off to work, which is nowadays meeting as many people as I can to create the awareness about financial planning. And also Prudential BSN Takaful. LOL I know I've been gettting a lot of "macam mana budak Biotek, Monash boleh end up buat insurans ni?" It's a long story really and I plan to start blogging about the transition, as well as all the things that happened in the past months. Not like I am still living in the past. I pretty much have moved on, tapi kan, a friend of mine in my agency said, something like this-"hidup ni macam memandu kereta, kadang2 kita kena...

Untitled-n

Greetings, earthlings! I have decided to start blogging. One should never underestimate the power of decision (tiba-tiba). So, for this comeback I am making, I think I should blog in Bahasa and English. And any other languages I know jks =P Before I was kinda strict on this, can only blog in either English or Bahasa but just nak tukar selera. Yesss! That was the first! Anyway, many things happened the past few months since my last post here. To start off, 1. I am no longer planning to get married because I got no calon. Wakakaka, no I am not laughing just tiru my housemate punya stail gelak. 2. I am now a full time Prudential financial planner. It's been 2 months already. Yeah, I guess these two news are pretty much DA BOMB punya news la. I think. Oh, and I am getting bigger LOL but that won't be for long. ;) Man, it sure feels great to be blogging now that I have started. Hopefully I get to blog more in the future. But I know it's gonna be a bit tough because now ...

Responsibility

Hello there! (read it Obi Wan's style) Pretty sure on this fine Sunday everyone is having a good time chilling, hanging out, or just lazing around at home.  It's weekend alright. But I know there are people that have to work on Sunday, because they are from Terengganu, Kedah and Kelantan that's why. =P The past few weeks have been a such insightful, making me all aware at the same time grateful that I finally take my words into action. In fact, since the day I started my life in Balakong Jaya here, I have learned a lot of things. Most important lesson of all, I am the only one who can decide what to do in my life and live it. Always, I find myself reciting the first few lines of "The Road Not Taken" Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because...

How My Day Went Today (not that it matters)

So, I received an email from Monash a week ago asking me if I would like to be a volunteer for the predeparture briefing at Monash Sunway for students going to the Australian campuses next semester. I thought why not. And turned out, I was the only former student of Monash turned up to be the volunteer. =___=" RM2 per entry. This is my 3rd time to Monash Sunway. Pretty awesome. Met with two Monash staffs who did a great job preparing for the event.  I miss this place!  Since I was the only volunteer present, I had to speak and share my experience with the audience. I did jumble mumble a bit LOL that's embarrassing. Anyway the students were very excited to fly to Australia since they asked me lots of questions after the session ended. Things like what bank do you recommend, is it easy to get Halal food, can I bring in medicines from Malaysia, food, spices and all that. And they asked if cooking in Australia is a good way to save money. I told them YES, and not...

What Say You?

Watching Movie at Cinema Alone To be honest, I've never done it before...I think? But this time, I'm really desperate to watch this movie "KL Gangster" in cinema and being a cheapskate I am, the ticket price for Wednesday shows is RM8 only right? Right?? Hmm, I haven't had time to do things by myself lately. The past two weeks had been awesome as my bro Adib stayed over so we did a lot of things like going to Low Yat, Alamanda and Kota Tinggi for my cousin - Kak On's wedding. I will update more on that sooon. Thanks to Adib for clearing up, cleaning up my place, looks so much better now. So yeah, I guess tonight will be the time to be with myself alone. And perhaps get a haircut. I can't get my hair spiked up anymore so I guess it's time.  =P hehehehe

I Am An Adult

There are few things that make me feel like an adult. 1. Having few things under my name. 2. A lot of driving. 3. Dreading not having enough money for future plan. And some other stuffs. Lately I find blogging therapeutic to my heart. And I don't mean the organ which is made up of cardiac muscles, constantly beating at varied pace, rather the emotional heart. Which is this ... oh...connection sucks at my workplace, cant upload pics. if i try uploading i would be disconnected from the network.. how wicked is that? hehehehe

Maybe Mother's Day Special Should Be The Last To Come?

Pretty sure those who love blogging will find themselves in this spot - having torrents of ideas, things to blog but came the time to type it out - none did. To me it would be a bit difficult to blog about something that I wanted to long time ago so I usually start blogging again, about the new, recent ideas, interesting events or stuffs that took place. So, let's cut to the chase, talk about what happened lately. Oh before that, you guys heard about the E.coli outbreak in Europe ? Scary man, but it's really upsetting people pointing fingers because I really think at this stage, any possible measure to get the situation under control should be taken. Also to point out the point of origin of the outbreak, possible sources. This reminds me of   Vantage Point and one microbiology laboratory session I had last time where we had to trace back where did the epidemic originate from. Oh okay. So today, I bid farewell to my two seniors in Ligno Biotech. Both have other commitments...

TAMMAT

I remember the first time I saw the word "TAMMAT" after every old Malay movie when I was little, I was so impressed that even if you spell it backwards, it still is "TAMMAT" hahaha the simplicity of life for a kid. So, it's the end of March and tomorrow will be the 1st April, and so far I can proudly say I am recovering from my blog-laziness syndrome. Hahaha, including this post, it will be a total of 32 posts. Then again, I'd rather go for quality than quantity but I think the best way for me to get rid of this lazy bug is to just post any crap/thing/stuff that can get me blogging. Oh, and oh! Thank you PosOnline for being awesome! I mean, I was this close to miss my internet bill payment. I was looking forward to Friday but I guess, I have to wait until Monday then...Patient is virtue....not. =P It's been almost half a year. Love the job. Will probably blog about my life here sooon. How soon? Sooon! hehehehe

Screwed Up Weekend

All the things planned - TAK JADI.  Growing up, I have learned some valuable lessons when it comes to planning. You say Insya Allah which means God Willing, when you are planning something on. You plan, God plans, but God is the best plan maker. Be prepared to not being able to carry out your plan, say your words. And it would be nice if you have a backup plan, if not a few, you know in case things go wrong. Was pretty much looking forward to the weekend (no, I'm not quoting Rebecca Black's Friday! ) because of a cousin's wedding. This cousin, haven't seen him and the family for years. The last time I saw them was before I left for Australia, probably in 2006? See! 5 years already. Woah... So, I thought the cousin's wedding would be today, the 27th March 2011. And yesterday's late afternoon as I was getting ready going out to watch World Invasion Battle LA (which is btw, a better movie than Independence Day imo but probably just as good as Cloverfield?) I re...

No Idea

What to blog about? I know I've got something to blog here, just that I don't know how to start. So pardon this rambling, and let's hope that by the time I'm done you get to read the real stuff. ..... .......... .. Oh, Lee Chong Wei won All England for the second time in a row! And he beat Lin Dan woot woot~ That's old stuff yeah?... I bet you don't know this - That if you have online bank accounts you can donate some of your savings to charities! And even to the survivors/victims of the recent earthquake in Japan! Yeah! Go to Groupon and donate RM3 to Japan! Hey, I love working life! I get to do things I couldn't before! What? I'm outdated because everyone knows about these things? Oh..okay... Never mind then... I think Imma talk to my webcam, doing a vlog... hehehehehe

You Know It's Worth It

Finally! A stable, super fast internet connection! For your information, in case I forgot to mention in my previous posts I signed up for Unifi last month. And last Sunday, I got all the cables, modem, router, TV top box installed, only that there was one problem - I couldn't access the internet. Apparently there was a problem at the centre, so only a week after that day, which is today, that I got to use the internet! The wait is worth it really, I've never felt this happy, okay I'm lying, I have experienced much greater joy than this, just that there are too many of those moments. Oh, another reason why I should thank Allah for blessing my life and to remind myself that my life does not suck. With Unifi, no more buffering. Laju dowh! (Sam Bunkface 2010)  =P Nobody starts from the top. Nobody had it easy in the first try. So, don't whine, don't complain. Life is all about learning. If you think you have learned nothing all these time you've been alive, you...

Celcom 3G Is A-OK??

So it seems. I got full bar on my phone when I got back from work, and I checked on my laptop, yeah, full bar! HSDPA! No more EDGE/GPRS. It's a good news, but I will still go on with Unifi. In fact I have already registered online. Because I applied online, I will not get charged for the first month, and when I get my first bill in the second month, I don't have to pay the next month's bill in advance. Awesome~ Celcom, you guys have done a great job rectifying the problem. Maybe, what you can do next is to make sure nobody steals anything from your 3G station! Hahaha =P So, guys, do anticipate my comeback. hehehehe

So What's Been Happening Outside This Blog?

A lot of things. For starter, I got my dad's kancil. Drove it all the way from Kerteh to Balakong Jaya few days before new year. It was a good thing that we all had planned to have a trip to KL with my aunt from Penang. I took turn driving the Kancil with Adib, tailing our family car. I must say it was a nerve wracking experience when I drove in the city area for the first time. Cars, lorries, motorcycles everywhere. Mostly moving at the speed of more than 60km/h even in that kind of traffic jam. Scary. Stayed over at a hotel suite near KLCC for the night and the next morning, as early as 6am, I drove to my place in Balakong Jaya. And yeah, I drove the kancil, following my dad who was driving the other car. I didn't know my way around then, but now, okay-lah. I just follow sign boards and Google Maps. =P Back in Kerteh after watching the first match of the AFF Suzuki Cup Final. Boys will forever be in love with video games! Be it handheld game console, or pc =P Exc...

Long Silence...Does That Mean I Have Many Golds Now????

You know how they say, silence is gold? Hahah I am just being lame at the moment. I got plenty of things to talk about, to blog about, but guess what? All of a sudden 3 weeks ago, no more 3G network in my flat. Before that, I could get full bar 3G connection in my room, now I have to rely on GPRS/EDGE connection, which is super slow. I hate looking at the USB Modem blinking green.... Still thank you Celcom for taking a prompt action to get this problem of mine fixed. They replied my email, and called me last Monday to notify me that they did come to Balakong Jaya and found out that there is a problem with the 3G coverage in this area. Man, if no one complaining, I guess it would have remained unfixed until God knows when! But thank you Celcom, worry not, you won't get bad publicity for this, rather a good one since you are taking your customer's complaint seriously. Kudos! =D I sound really pissed in this email huh? But it's a good thing I wasn't being too rude. J...

Saya Nak Berganda-Ganda Halim!

I didn't know I got tagged by Che Yah until McWan told me about it at my shoutbox. And McWan still wants to tag me the same tag Che Yah tagged me. Oh..a bit confusing. According to James Blunt, YES I AM! Thanks the person who gave you this award & link them Thanks from the bottom of my feet ( icecube1 2010 ) to Che Yah and McWan for giving me this award. The 'A' Thing

I wonder if this laptop is dying. Well, it is indeed, without a doubt an ancient laptop from the time when one laptop could cost you the same price of a motorcycle. Or a mountain bike used in tournament. Now, the 'A' button is not working well. I have to press it really hard whenever I need to type any word with an 'A' in it. It's a good thing English doesn't have that many words with too many 'A's in it. (Well, not really, Danial) Tempted I was yesterday to go Low Yat and get myself a new laptop, but I told myself, don't buy something you want, buy something you need = food. LOL It's true, sometimes the things that we want would end up unused, become extras in our household. Reminds me of a quote from Will Smith, We often buy things we don't want, with money we don't have, to impress people we don't like This usually applies to housewives LOL and some working guys who grabbed a sporty expensive luxury cars right after they got...

Everybody's Changing

Ah, don't worry, I'm not gonna post up the official MV of the song here. I already did that . Though I was considering of sharing it here just now but naah. Too much of Keane's songs is not good hahaha. True enough everybody's changing. Your best, old friend from primary school, secondary school, they all will change over time. Especially if you haven't met them for long time. Former lovers or in my case, former crushes hahaha, most of them change, appearance wise, not much but the maturity, yeah most likely. Or if you're married, your partner might have changed a lil' bit. If last time before you got married to your partner, you both were all fun, open to new things, but once you guys tied the knots, things start to get dull, bored. Or just the same. No excitement. No more mushy, lovey dovey talks, smses, fb comments on walls that drove other people off the wall because of the cheesiness. Heh. Perhaps, your siblings have changed too. Especially if you r...

25 Things About Me

So this time around I got tagged by Azza Zahra . I need to share 25 things, random things about me. Well, I had done something like this last time , got tagged by Kak Ja , but I was only asked to list 23 random things, about me. I guess it should be alright for me to just copy those 23 things I listed and add another 2 things about me in this tag. =P 1.My full name is Mohd Danial Ikhwan bin Mohd Jaafar. Pretty long huh? 2. I grew up in KL, Kluang, Kuching and Penang before permanently staying in Kerteh, Terengganu. I was 7 years old then. IC photo when I was 12 years old. 3. Used to be cute, chubby, montel, bulat, round amat! =P 4.I don't really know much about cars, engines and stuffs. =S 5.My secondary school's life was pretty awesome for a nerd, unpopular school prefect. Hahaha. 6.Started to lose weight in Form Five. Merentas desa tak pernah ponteng dan hasilnya, 3 mata untuk Rumah Tun Perak (Rumah Hijau) Ahaks!! 7.Eldest son and got 4 younger siblings; 3 ...

Hari-Hari Makin Susah

Not that difficult actually to still blog daily, but I find myself rushing to blog. Which is not something I should do because that certainly doesn't make me feel enjoyed blogging. I guess I should take things slowly, and let things happen naturally. Hahaha as if blogging is a natural process. =P I read quite a stunning, shocking news. Man, I guess most of Malaysian celebrities wanna be like Hollywood's eh? Check out Budak Lelaki Sebelah Pintu to know what I'm talking about. Tomorrow is my graduation day. My mom and other siblings (except Adib because he still got exam) came down to my dad's place at Subang, near the old Subang Airport yesterday. I believe, in 10 or 20 more minutes, they will reach here to pick me up. My graduation will take place in Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, Pyramid 1. I didn't know that the pyramids are numbered there in Sunway Pyramid =P Looking forward to it, because I need the graduate cert to be sent to JPA. Well, of course the co...

1111111111

I once watched this Korean drama, very old drama, courtesy of my bff Greenie. The main actor was the same guy in My Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang. Anyway, it was from this drama I learned that if you look at the time and it shows 11:11, someone is missing you. I was like, what? Whoever came up with that has given lonely people a thing to feel good for every time it's 11:10, they will wait and turn to see the time one minute after that. hahaha =P The guy I was talking about. I used to be so crazy for that actress. So cute..hahaha. But now I'm not into this kind of Korean dramas. Recently I watched Slave Hunters. The only Korean drama I watched in 2 years? Today's date is 11 November 2010. Next year, there will probably be many weddings held on 11 November 2011. Pretty cool, no? I know I still got looonngg way to go. I don't think I should talk about this on my blog hahaha, change topic. =P Better still, let's go exercise! yeay! XD hehehehe
