Brave?

Eugene Cernan is on TV.
I read his book "The Last Man On The Moon" and now have the pics.
Amazing.

Give me a ticket to the moon - I wouldn´t take it, chicken-me. And imagine... back then! Poor family and friends full of fear? And-or pride?

Would you be so brave and take the chance... today or even back then?

Eugene Cernan was the fastest man on the moon, too, btw, in the car.
He went at 18,9 km/h, 0,3 km/h faster than they went on the first car race on earth on June 22nd in 1894 from Paris to Rouen - German details see here.
Aww, Rouen... a near-to-be-love-Thoma(s) at age 14... Wonder where he´s now? He started studying medicine back then (he was 18).

The bravest I came up with so far was the Australian Outback - and I won´t go further!

Still, a great book, "The Last Man On The Moon" - scientifically, humorous, honest and very well written. Written by a very brave man.

Should be an interesting read, I'll see if I can get it here. I certainly wouldn't be brave enough to go all the way to the moon either!

Definitely not Iris, I'm too terrified to go out on a high balcony :)

We work in 4th floor and I get sick when someone leans wide out of the window...
