OK. Here we go. I just wanna know if you can relate... please let me know.
With the financial help of our families we were able to buy this condo.
Small, but we can visit Henry in 20 minutes on foot and we have a balcony, it´s like living in a village, too, that was Ingo´s wish.
We OWN.
We are RESPONSIBLE.
Sorry for screaming, but, really!
I get an e-mail, I missed signing a document.
Ingo got an e-mail with the same message, too.
We are married, just saying.
Germany.
I looked the company that misses our document up.
Phone number. Hm. Fax!!!! Fax!!!!
Finally found an ohhhhhh... e-mail-address!!!! Little wonders do happen here!
(Irony, right)
I asked them to send me the document as .pdf.
They did.
I found a free program to edit it, filled in what´s needed, signed (weeee... again, looked like I´m a three-year-old! Have you ever signed with the mouse?).
Sent it back, said sorry for the bad signature.
E-mail: "Call me back ASAP!!!"
Huhhh, help!
I did.
They ... now, please sit down...
They need it on paper. PAPER. And Ingo has to sign, too!
And she giggled and said she loved the way I tried.
And my explanation - see, it always pays off to be nice. Well, at least we got some laughs here, huh!
Germany.
Fax, paper and both have to sign.
Middle ages come to mind...
And five... FIVE other owners didn´t get the document, either, just saying, not my fault, likely.
P.S.!!!! Blogger is back to normal, a bit, yayyyyy! No pics in HTML-mode, but they don´t crush the code no more 😀
(I am old, I like to be "in control"...)
Henry? 🦁
Same stupid stuff in your place?
P.S., this is for you, Tom

R´s Rue... it drove me 🥜
You are more modern than us. We get a document in the mail, sign with ink, and mail it back. We never do it electronically. That's asking for trouble.
Same here, I wasn´t allowed to do it online - I printed it, we signed and I delivered it.
That happened to me once too. The person told me I could send it via a jpeg so I did. Then I got a letter in the mail saying I had to sign it again. I did and that ended the mixup.
Congratulations on your new place. That's wonderful!
My job off and on I have to deal with things like this. If I let get to me I would be corner sucking my thumb.
Bill, I really needed to print it on paper!!!! Paper!

Spare Parts and Pics, oh, sorry, no, we have this place since 2011, they only got a new secretary for housekeeping and the rest I guess no one understood.... Germany...

Dora, my respect to you! These things drive me nuts! The thumb is a good idea, LOL! Another finger comes to mind, without the sucking!!! 😂
Same everywhere, paperwork needs to be signed on paper or it isn't legal.
Yesterday my computer decided to update again so no computer to use to comment. Luckily I had scheduled my post. Frustration. It is like there here in the US too. It being nice is always good I find. It worked well with kids for 36 years teaching. They give you respect that way. Love your decorating too! Happy Friday hugs Erika
Rick sells a software program he designed for the well drilling business to computerize operations. Enter everything once, it moves forward forever. One and done. No looking it up on file cards or paper records. One feature is a form each driller has to submit to the state and every state's form is different. And a lot of states -- it's the same as you! It has to be on the piece of paper, not electronic. So, he was able to work with states to copy the form so that they can carry their info forward and if add the last bits. If the state needs the paper, they can print it out (or email to those that accept.)
It has been SO HARD to get the drillers to accept the computer and the states to accept the pdfs, but finally they do.
You are right about being nice. When you are, people go out of their way to help -- or at least don't snap off your head! It makes a world of difference!
How irritating.
