(A Wee Bit) Back To Normal

I went to the city to get some stuff and thought, HUH?!
Why are people screaming???

What is THAT?!!!

Oh, they scream of JOY, what a nice surprise!
I didn´t join, but here is proof I did in 2016!
Yes, me, the one who is afraid of heights!

Right now, till end of August, you also find this:

How boring, though, Ingo had to explain it to me.
You pay money, choose a string, pull and get some cheapy stuff.
Don´t count me in!!!!
People make a living of THAT? No... people can make a living of that?
Beats me.

Have you ever done this? What are the "prizes" you can get? I didn´t go near.

I´d rather (watch my Wee One) go into this:

Yet, ewww...

I remember my Mum forcing me to visit the circus once.
Boy, did I HATE the clowns, they are not funny, and that was looong before "IT" - maybe Stephen King was forced to go, too, and that´s how the movie scared the shi## out of so many people years later! ;-)

A hint on what´s to come up here tomorrow, and let me tell you... it was scary!!!

Henry? 🦁 Not scared yet.

How many of his Siblings do you see here (it´s at the cathedral....).
Today we expect 28C, sunny, BIIIG YAY!
You need to cool off, huh.
Ingo this time called Jürgens Brewery and wrote a card to W. Let´s see if he will join, he was in a bad mood on Tuesday... but bet sun, warmth, yummiest quality beer and a good chat might cheer him up, right? 🍻🥖

P.S. Got switched to new blogger. Hmmm.
OK, I like the color in the code.
Yes, I do, maybe a good move, once you got it, I´ll see (you?) tomorrow...
But you have to switch modes to add pics?!!! Or I am dumb/blind?

I don't find clowns that funny either, but I know some people do. I'm not that keen on fairground stuff either, but merry-go-rounds I adore :)

See you tomorrow then, Ingo (and I, too!) did a great job - huhhhh, that sounds arrogant! ;-)

Well it looks like things are getting a bit back to normal Iris, fingers crossed 👍 I'm not that scared of clowns but Aimee is terrified 😱 they are pretty creepy though 😉

Oh I don't find clowns funny at all, at times (if I;m not scared of them) I do feel sorry for them because it's a very hard job to make people laugh and happy. This carnival makes me so happy to see dearest Iris! especially that here on our side, we are back to stricter lockdown again since August 4th and it will run for half a month. But it makes me happy to see that you guys are slowly going back to normal and safer.

I visited your past post about this ride. We call this ride "Duyan" or the tagalog word for Cradle. It's very scary for me but I did try it once, I was screaming so hard because aside from my fear of heights, I am also 260 pounds heavy so it doubles my fear that the chains will just break and send me flying to my final destination HAHA

Oh dear Iris I saw your recipe of the Bacon banana peel that is super super cool! Please do tell me if you get to try it :)

Sending hugs!
Stevenson

There are lots of clowns everywhere so you probaby don't have to go to a circus to see one. :) Don't think pulling a string sounds entertaining, I agree it's rather boring. I just got the new blogger yesterday. The only problem I got was with adding labels, it so darn slow and aggravating. I hope they fix it because there are lots of people who aren't happy with it. A nice 19C here. :)

I've never been big on carnivals. The games are stupid, expensive (and I think rigged!) and the rides freak me out. But it is a lively colorful atmosphere and always a good photo op. Love the pix here!

I also hate clowns. They scare me still. And that ride looks frightening as I also don't like heights. Good for you to try it back in 2016! Hugs-Erika

My grandmother saw a whirly car dislodge from the main piece when she was a girl. The car flew a long distance and killed the two people who were in the car. Your first photo reminded me of that. I have NEVER ridden a ride at a carnival because I am afraid of them to this day. And I am NOT fond of clowns, either. I hope for a good post tomorrow.

Dear Stevenson! You made me laugh so hard about the ride to your maybe final destination!!!
Especially also because I thought the same! Will that darn seat hold me or not?!
And these things go on forever, too! LOL

I am sorry you are again on stricter rules, just looked it up, still "free to go" from here to you, so Lille Corinna might still be on her way OK.

I nearly already forgot about the banana, thank you for the reminder and big hugs to you!

Do you you know the movie The Wing or the Thigh - the son plays a clown, he is a very sad clown...

Bill, I think no one is happy with the new blogger-version...
I didn´t even find the "promised" link to the old version. We expect 27C again! 😊🌞

Jeanie, yes to it all! But... pics are to come and I think you will love them (from Ingo).
