Virginia Beach: Tree Textures

This tree reminded me of a dragon.
A sampling of some of the tree textures I discovered at Virginia Beach. It's amazing what you see when you really stop to look.

Georgia Trees: A Last Look

Here are the last of the tree photos from Skidaway Island, Georgia.

I was attracted to these trees as they seemed so human with their lean muscular limbs.

A closer look revealed hidden details.

I'll be switching gears this week. I'm preparing for a new class, Arresting Resists. This class will focus on my discoveries using common household materials as fabric resists.

Stranger in a Strange Land

I've just returned from my visit to Savannah (Skidaway Island). Back among maples, dogwoods, and oaks. Back among the familiar.

It's interesting how one has to travel to really see things.

Small wonders

Hidden places

Dreamscapes

I hope I can keep my eyes open now that I'm back home in Virginia.
